Stopped for 1 night. Hotel good for stop over

This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life - soooooo aweful. Ceiling in bathroom falling down nearly hit me on head (and it was metal). Outdated decor by 40 years. Smelt unclean and place knackered. Changed room to another hell hole. Sons bed was broken and when I needed toilet before departure toilet was broke - plug sockets unsafe and didn’t work and had to take items off charge overnight incase of fire. I felt dizzy next day after waking up looking at penal dashed ceiling. cobwebs from ceiling in bar and beer €8goddamn50 - I went to complain and staff couldn’t care less they had my €160 which was €150 too much - I wouldn’t rate 1 but that’s the minimum

This is not a four star hotel - it should have three stars at most. It does not have a lift, and does not have a safe or fridge in the room. The fixtures and furnishings are outdated and not all TV channels worked. The dining room had open buffets at dinner and breakfast but allowed several dogs in the room. The dinner buffet was good, but the breakfast was very limited and the scrambled eggs were stone cold.

Good location for breaking up the journey to the ski slopes, but that's all! One pillow per person, toilet didn't flush. Get up early if you want warm food....one bowl of scrambled eggs for a full restaurant! Asked reception to organise a taxi....just gave us a number to call. This hotel is tired and in need of immediate refreshment and modernisation. We first came here 20 years ago, and it hasnt changed at all. Staff were polite, pleasant, and hard working, but there is little else to recommend this hotel.

This hotel should not be called a Novotel. It’s an Ibis surely? Furniture is out of date, there are water leaks in the bathrooms, the toilets are soiled, the staff are over-worked and too few, and the carpets are dirty. Food in the so-called Brasserie is mediocre at best. The Tripadvisor reviews (numerous) over the years tell the story of poor Accor management and under investment in this hotel. It is probably profitable because it is mid way to the south. But best advice would be to avoid it and go elsewhere!

Disappointed as it looks ok from the outside, but it seems fun down on the inside. Added to this, they appeared to be very understaffed and while the staff were working flat out, they were unable to provide the best service. Not their fault I suspect. The rooms were a good size, but nothing stood out as being of any quality. Ok for an overnight stop, but nothing to get excited about.

Here is an explanatory summary of pros and cons that we have experienced: Pros: next to the motorway A6, family-friendly, playgrounds for kids inside, pool, restaurant with terrace, large and very nice park also with playground for kids, a lot of secure parking spaces. Cons: NEVER book a room starting with a 3.. ! (see my video), unless you like spiders , dirt, and rotten furniture. Receiption often not available on the phone, spoke French only and was impolite (if not rude), WiFi PW not found in the room also no details on when to leave, WiFi PW received by receiptionist not correct. Although Classic room had all that a 4*NEEDS, furniture more like in the 80th/90th. Not enough waiters/service members for the gastronomy, no information whatsoever in the bar e.g. no prices anywhere or what drinks available. 0,5l Heineken at 8,- € !!!!! There is certainly more potential for improvement by increasing and better training the staff and more than the basics are there. But the building looks partly almost rotten. A lot more to report but this nightmare is wiped out in my memory.

Stayed for one night. Can't fault the hotel or the food provided. Normally coach travel food is bland as the hotel is subject to budget constraints. We liked the small menu card that was provided (nice touch) . The soup was delicious and the second course of fish was equally as good Breakfast as normal in all the hotels on our trip was excellent.
