I stayed in Park Regis for 3 nights. Had a nightmare experience. On day one as I checked in, They gave me a room with a super strong smell of damp walls. I asked them to change my room because of my medical condition (asthma), which they couldn’t. So I decided to stay out as much as possible inorder to avoid staying in the room for longer even in 40* temperature. On day 2, I woke up with a discharged phone as the socket wasn’t working. I stayed out even in the highest temperature outside, returned back at 5 in the morning and by 7 AM there was a power cut in my room which lasted for an hour and half where i was struggling with the engineers and mechanics to have my AC on. 2 people now coming back and forth in the room. Have no darkness in the room. Because the curtain plugs were broken and so there was strong light coming in the room. Had somehow ***aged that day and asked to change the room. On the last day, they upgraded our room. Where there was mushroom growing down the AC l. we went out and returned back to some AC problem again. As the AC wasn’t working, we called the engineer again at 3 AM, he did something and said now it won’t be happening. Cut to 7AM where i woke up all soaked in sweat and called the team again to re do my AC. Looks more like Nani’s house in some village rather than some hotel. Now will check in to some other hotel to get some sleep. My husband was afraid to booze as we have to come again to this place and deal with the non working ACs and powercuts at night. LOL All though the staff was polite and apologetic. But we can’t really redeem there 9 apologies. Certainly not returning back to this hotel ever again.
