There is a good view from hotel, but that is not my main need in a hotel. It needs to have the basics to a good standard which this hotel does not. A good shower is essential but this hotel has a shower that is high risk of scalding! Very dangerous! Water runs cold for long period then a very short warm up phase the boiling! Luckily the shower door opens outwards for quick exit! Beds are not great. Sheets thin and old as are blankets. No one serviced our room during our two night stay but others staying at the same time did get there's done. We did request fresh towels late in the evening ( because no one had replaced them ) which were delivered . There is also a musty smell. Stains on lounges in the rooms. Cracked hand basin. And door lock didn’t always work but battery was replaced quickly when it was checked (still didn’t work every time). Staff I met were very friendly and tried to be helpful.

Saga at the bar was friendly efficient and makes amazing cocktails would throughly recommend best ever cocktails presentation and customer service were particularly outstanding The hotel staff very helpful rooms are comfortable with amazing views

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were welcoming. The choice and selection of the buffet could have been better. Nothing memorable. Shower mixer is semi functional so either scalding hot or icy cold. Great views from the balcony. Located walking distance to Haputale city centre Furniture and fittings are a bit dated/worn Overall value for money and comfortable for a few nights when touring.

Great view and bar. ..food very average Room disgusting! Smelled of poop, moldy, fan did work but clunked , no fly screens so couldn't have window open due to bugs, sheet was small and didn't fit the bed etc etc. Eventually they moved me to a better room.

Uncomfortable, outdated, dirty, no a/c, bedding awful location 2-3 km away from anywhere, food cold and very average. On the plus side, the cocktails in the bar were excellent and good value. Staff were very average other than bar man who was excellent

It's a very budget hotel, you've got go up and down a number of flights of stairs to get to your room. There is a lift but only on one side of the hotel, The view side, no lift. That view is really good, even mist rolls in from time to time. Downside. the road to walk to town is pretty dangerous as tuk tuks, buses and cars don't really look out for pedestrians. Some of them even park where pedestrians walk. The food also was pretty average. There isn't much to do in the nearby town. Laundry is charged per item.

I would like to highly recommend the hotel. Rooms are clean equipped with all the amenities necessary, stuff is very nice and helpful. Most importantly the view is amazing. We had a great time at the bar. I recommend trying the pink lady drink.

Great place, the only minus was that we didn't get elevator for our room ; ) but the guys from the hotel helped us out. The room was clean. View from window was amazing Breakfast and dinner was very good. Hospitality of the staff is 5/5 they were very helpful.
