It's amazing, on arrival greeted with umbrellas, drinks and a very warm welcome. The staff can not do enough for you it's by far the best hotel of our trip so far. We felt pampered by the staff. The manager is so attentive. Location stunning, rooms fantastic and views to die for. My only issue was the walk to the waterfall. I wouldn’t reccomend as there are leeches and this was not pleasant but isn't the hotel's fault. Wish we could of stayed longer. It's magical.

A relaxing spot with amazing views A warm welcome with cold towels and refreshing fruit juice. Simple, clean rooms in lodges in the forest. The bird life is out of this world amazing. The team running this small, boutique hotel were really hospitable.

We stayed in some nice hotels in Sri Lanka and the views from the restaurant in this hotel were truly breathtaking. The rooms we felt needed some updating and seemed a little primitive compared with other hotels we stayed in. Given that this area does not have a plethora of places to stay, and it is worth visiting, we felt it was OK but not our favourite. The bathrooms offered what we required but again were not of the highest quality. The food was very nice and the staff were as polite as we had come to expect in Sri Lanka.

Set on a scenic hilltop, the hotel provides sweeping panoramas of the surrounding landscapes. The views from our room was great but we needed to keep the doors to our balcony closed due to marauding monkeys. The monkeys provided quite a bit of entertainment and added to our stay rather than detracting. Friendly welcoming staff, clean spacious rooms. No air-conditioning in the rooms just a room fan, we didn't find this a problem as the nights were cool enough to sleep in March. The restaurant is a buffet service and OK but not exceptional. Set on a hillside the hotel boast, walks, bird watching and and exercise circuit. We did a walk and found the paths unkept and in poor repair. Most of the exercise activities on route had rotted away! It's still a very pleasant explore, but as with any forest walk be prepared for leeches.

Lovely spot with lovely staff. Views were amazing! Rooms didn’t have AC, but did have a fan. Balcony view was worth it though! Food is limited, but again a lovely spot so worth sacrificing for a couple of days. Would come again in the future definitely.

We arrived at the hotel with a very warm welcome and a amazing view. The rooms is set in the hill side built on a large rock which was a really nice feature. Small water fall next to our room looked amazing. Food was good with live music made a really nice evening. We would definitely return here stunning hotel and settings.

Spectacular views. We arrived early evening and left early morning so we didn’t get the opportunity it’s to use any of the facilities. i.e. swimming pool. Room: Rooms basic, very clean. No air conditioning but a very effective ceiling fan which was quiet (on a low setting) and kept the room cool. Lots of steps to climb up and down to get to our room. Well lit at night. Bell boys did a great job carrying our cases to our room… and back up again the next morning. Credit to them. There is a TV but it worked intermittently after we got help from room service to get it working. WiFi intermittent also. It was a very windy evening so this may have effected the signal. Reception staff very responsive when we called them. Bathroom okay. Shower took a while to warm up but lovely when it did. It’s a wet room and does flood! Okay hairdryer. Evening meal: The food was adequate, buffet style. As always with buffet style food, it could be warmer. Good variety of found choices. Desserts okay. There is a fresh fruit area with a very skilled chef chopping it up and serving it. Breakfast: we were leaving early and requested a slightly earlier breakfast which they willingly accommodated. Overall a nice stay. The views were absolutely stunning and well worth seeing.
