I had made a reservation, but they double-booked me and gave me a different room, but all the rooms had great views.
They prepared a plentiful breakfast for me, which I ate on the balcony with a great view.
The area around the hotel is quiet and relaxing. It's also within walking distance of the city center.
The only thing that was disappointing was that although the room was clean, there was a huge line of ants in the shower at night. It was difficult to get hot water in the shower.

Rooms dirty - not reception or room service. On top of that forgot my sun glasses in the property. Realize when I was 20 min away by car and called them. They told me not to worry and that they would send the glasses by cuorier to my next destination- nice people I tought. Later on simply delayed the shipment to keep the sun glasses.

This is a homestay and not a hotel / motel / guest house. There is no reception. No restaurant. No gym. No lift. Does have stairs to climb. The property is hard to find. The room was smelly / musty on arrival. I needed to keep doors open for a while to air the room. The bathroom did not feel clean. Neither did the bed sheets. A strange noise woke me up around midnight. Breakfast was fresh and one of the nicest I have had. The owners were very obliging and keen to please. However, unfortunately did not meet expectations.

Great experience at Ridge View Hotel! Highlights are definitely the breathtaking view of the mountains, the breakfast (amazing egg hoppers and lots of fresh fruit) and the whole family was super friendly and helpful with us :)
