The Capoe House

This Stay was absolutely stunning! This hotel is located in the middle of nature. A jeep brings you to the hotel because the streets are bumby. We were welcomed by Eranda. He and the whole team tried to fullfill every wish we had. They offered us tea showed us arround to waterfalls. The food was amazing, the breakfast is served with an amazing view and also dinner. We especially enjoyed the Sri Lanka night where they served us regional food. You also should not miss tea time and the pool

Wow…. What an amazing stay. Eranda and his team really made the stay so special for us and our friends. The house is beyond beautiful - classic country meets Sri Lankan hillside. We are so grateful for such a special stay. The chef cooked us amazing meals and we felt spoilt every second. Our favourite of course was the traditional Sri Lankan food. Eranda also took us bird watching and talked to us about his extensive knowledge of wildlife - he is literally a professional! A guide also took us on a beautiful hike to alien rock - highlight! Thanks also to all the lovely staff who made our trip so perfect. We will miss you all (until next time!) Josh, Kiara, Emma, Sydney (and Raph!)

My wife and I very happy with how pleasantly we were surprised by the beautiful property and exceptional service we got at Capoe House. We just needed a weekend get away but what we got was something that was a truly exceptional. The level of professionalism and friendliness of the team that served us at Capoe House was truly marvellous. The Capoe House is a hidden gem for those seeking a serene and luxurious escape. This boutique villa with the picturesque setting creates the perfect blend of contemporary comfort and the traditional Sri Lankan charm. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. We had 6 adults in our party and the villa was perfect! The staff at Capoe House are exceptionally friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcomed and pampered. The dining experience was great as well- we were welcomed with a delicious Sri Lankan pork curry and rice for lunch even on short notice! Dinner and breakfast were adequate as well. Although we didn't use it, an outdoor pool is also available. The tranquil atmosphere is perfect for a refreshing dip or simply soaking up the sun. Overall, Capoe House is a perfect destination for couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a luxurious yet intimate retreat!

What an excellent experience! We stayed at The Capoe House for 3 nights, and wished we could have stayed for longer. Despite there being 2 additional groups staying, you still get the Staffs' undivided attention. The Staff are incredibly professional, friendly and can not do enough to help you. The team lead Eranda is especially passionate and knowledgeable about the local wildlife, make sure you take advantage and ask him to show you the flora & fauna. Our butler Chaminda took very good care of us, and is very proud of his signature lime & rum cocktail which is a must have! The Chefs were outstanding - the menu caters for Western tastes, however if you ask him to cook locally he can let his colours shine and produce some exceptionally tasty curries and condiments if you can handle the spice. The setting of Capoe House is in the middle of the tea plantations, nestled with a stunning vista gazing straight down the mountainsides. The pictures displayed really are exactly what you can expect to get. As expected accommodation is modern, clean, tidy and full of personal touches. You will be spoil for choices of where you can dine (in your house/private terrace/communal terrace/inside). We can't give enough praise and thanks to Eranda and his team for making an especially memorable stay at The Capoe House. I recommend bringing a decent camera and pair of binoculars with you!
