Have stayed here several times and usually have a good experience, except for the breakfast arrangements at the beefeater next door. On this occasion, we arrived with relatives in their 80s to find the rooms that had been refurbished and only completed that day, had no electricity. There was only one person on the desk, and it was a busy day in mid Dec. The poor girl fried frantically to get the electric working in both rooms, for over an hour, eventually moving us to other rooms on another floor, but again, no electric. We we're beginning to give up hope. Already feeling low as we were attending a younger relatives' funeral the next day. But after 90 minutes, she finally succeeded by using 2 key cards in the lighting slot, giving us light. Needless to say we were all tired and weary. To her credit she offered a refund for the cost of breakfast to compensate, and on feeding our experience back to Premier Inn, they also discounted the cost of the rooms. So we were happy with that, and generally we would stay here again. Our only other gripe is with the arrangement for breakfast in the beefeater accross the carpark. Having booked full English breakfast, that is what you expect. But being asked on arrival have you paid or not is poor practice, and would expect the booking in and restaurant services to be linked, so that question becomes mute. Then to go through each item in the English breakfast menu to be asked how many of each item is required is really unacceptable. I do hope they seriously explore a better way to greet and serve their customers. Most hotels would usually just ask your room number, which tells them if you have paid for breakfast or not, and then serve you the item as listed on the menu.

Once again a great Premier Inn experience. The weather was hot for the time of year and so we were provided with a fan in the room, bottles of water, hand held paper fans and face spray bottles for if we needed them. We were able to open the window and the weather did not affect our stay. Shout out to member of the team: Kinga who was exceptionally friendly, and we had a good chat with her.

This hotel just gets better & better the rooms are immaculate the staff are amazing lovely ckean roo.s with all the amenities you need premier plus rooms also have fridge & coffee maker. The only downside side is that the road can be noisy, the WiFi is weak and the shower pressure is slow but apart from that the rest more than makes up for any downsides. We always stay here when travelling through Gloucester.

Really friendly service in both the hotel & the restaurant. Diana, our waitress at dinner was great and really looked after us. There is good parking outside and the area is really quiet. The rooms are really comfortable with tea / coffee making facilities.

We arrived at about 4pm after having a slight delay on our flight. We found the hotel really easy, parking was no issue either. Once we got in, it was welcoming, nice and friendly staff at the reception, was really quick to check in. Arrived at our room, first impression was okay, thought it would be more welcoming. Originally booked for two adults and one teenager and the room we got was definitely not suitable for that. Thankfully one adult couldn’t make it so was just one adult and teenager which suited us. Our room had a smell of **** which would explain why the window was left open on our arrival. There was a used dirty cotton bud in the bathroom, there was mould in different places of the bathroom and the taps were dirty. The curtains in the room area had holes in them and stains. Cobwebs all round the window and vinyl coming away from the tables. One cup in the room even though it was booked for three people. The bed was the best part of the room, the mattress is amazing and comfy. Very happy with the bed and sleep we got. We had workmen in and out the carparks, and we were limited to when we could get in and out without disturbing them. They blocked several spaces off which affected us as we couldn’t get a space after 6pm because of the restaurant next to us shares the same car park.

Megan was incredibly helpful during my lovely stay at Premier Inn. She went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, answering all my questions with a friendly smile. Truly a standout experience! Lovely location and easy to find, highly recommend

The noisiest hotel I've ever been in. Every rooms door could be.heard.opening and closing slamming constantly. No soundproofing of rooms I could hear next door snoring, upstairs moving about, next doors bathroom water gushing through the pipes. In the mornings it was again slamming doors as cleaners cleaned rooms from early on. I barely got any sleep for noise. The wifi barely works. The room is clean and modern The area is great but at the price charged I'd stay elsewhere
