This hotel took us by surprise. Romantic old building with a modern touch. Very friendly and understanding staff. Amazing restaurant that’s available for non-hotel visitors. Beautiful view on the region as the hotel lies on a hill. Will definitely come again.

On paper this hotel has it all. In reality it’s a little different. Parking is a nightmare, not enough parking places, scattered around, some on the street, some inside a yard, some around the corner- in the open and not guarded in any way, once you go out for the day- you might not have a place to park when you come back. You pay 10€ a day for this delight. The hotel suggested we parked our very expensive car in the nearby supermarket. Unbelievable. Check-in was extremely slow, but friendly, our room was at the very end of the hotel, lots of stairs on the way and no elevator. I found that hard . Room is ok, clean and basic, nice balcony, very small bathroom. The bed and pillows were very bad for me- super uncomfortable, and I slept really badly. The pool was small but clean, I was very unhappy to find all the buttons for the jet stream, jacuzzi ect. Did not work. Not even one! Also the Bar was closed- this is with a fully booked hotel on high season weekend . Very disappointing! Breakfast was nice (only the coffee wasn’t good), but it didn’t make me feel better about this hotel. We payed more than enough, but didn’t get our money’s worth.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Kurpark und in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Luisenstraße, wo einige Restaurants zu finden sind. Während unseres Aufenthalts war der Aufzug leider über einen längeren Zeitraum außer Betrieb, sodass uns ein Zimmer im Nebengebäude angeboten wurde, um die drei Stockwerke zu umgehen. Mit seinem historischen Charme – das Hotel beherbergte in seinen letzten Lebenswochen den Schriftsteller Tschechow – überzeugt es auf den ersten Blick. Allerdings wirft die jüngste Renovierung gemischte Gefühle auf, da der gestalterische Anspruch nicht ganz überzeugte. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig, ohne separater Toilette. Zudem musste man explizit um einen Wasserkocher bitten, um sich morgens einen Tee oder Kaffee zuzubereiten – etwas, das heutzutage eigentlich zum Standard gehört. Auch der Wellnessbereich präsentiert sich in Ordnung, bietet jedoch mit seiner kleinen Sauna, in der an Wochenenden oft Wartezeiten entstehen, nicht viel mehr als das Nötigste. Das Frühstück konnte uns ebenfalls nicht überzeugen: Die Auswahl war begrenzt und die Qualität ließ leider zu wünschen übrig. Insgesamt jedoch bietet das Hotel einen reizvollen Rahmen, der mit einigen Verbesserungen das Potenzial hätte, einen noch runderen Eindruck zu hinterlassen.

Nous avons séjourné 2 jours dans ce bel hôtel idéalement situé au cœur de Badenweiler. L’endroit est très calme, les chambres sont propres. L’équipe est très sympathique. Le coin spa est un vrai +, le coin est magnifique et la piscine est vraiment sympa. Nous avons également profité du coin billard. Tout y est pour passer un agréable moment ! Le petit déjeuner est excellent, l’équipe a accepté que nous le prenions en chambre en prenant un grand plateau, j’ai trouvé cela vraiment sympa de leur part 🙂.

Bel hôtel de style classique situé au cœur de cette petite ville thermale. La chambre est jolie et confortable, bonne literie, beau spa, billard à disposition. Un des seuls hôtels 4 étoiles à prix abordable dans le coin. Wifi efficace et chambre équipée de prise ethernet.

Excellent hôtel très bien tenu et un personnel au top Un super accueil avec pleins d’attentions et une qualité de services personnalisés. Le spa et la piscine extérieure sont des atouts dans un cadre idyllique sans oublier l’environnement bucolique. Un grand merci en particulier à la jeune dame de l’accueil pour sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme. Je recommande cet endroit si agréable.

Das meiste Personal ist freundlich, jedoch ist zu vieles 'gerade' defekt. Das Schwimmbad musste neu gefüllt werden und brauchte gut 2 Tage, bis es wieder warm war. Das Laufband im Fitnessraum (mit total nur drei Geräten) war defekt und wurde auch nicht repariert. Leider wurde dies auch nicht kommuniziert, als wir nach dem Fitnessraum fragten. In unserem Bad war es sehr kalt, als wir dies an der Rezeption meldeten, kam ein unfreundlicher Hausmeister im Zimmer vorbei (trat einfach ein, obwohl ihm kommuniziert wurde, dass noch jemand im Zimmer ist) und hat uns unfreundlich zurechtgewiesen, dass wir die Karte dauerhaft stecken lassen müssen (ökologischer Blödsinn?). Das Frühstücksbuffet hat grundsätzlich eine gute Auswahl, jedoch gab es an den Tagen mit weniger Gästen nur eine sehr dezimierte Auswahl des Buffets (nicht einmal die Konfitüren wurden aufgetischt) und auch hier ist der Service verbesserungsfähig. Die Lage ist top. Leider hat es jedoch insgesamt überhaupt nicht den Ansprüchen eines 4* Hotel entsprochen. Speziell ist auch, dass den Gästen für eine gute Bewertung ein Glas Sekt angeboten wird. Wir würden auf jeden Fall kein zweites Mal kommen und dieses Hotel auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt zentral in Badenweiler in einer ruhigen Lage. Der Empfang war nett, das Zimmer war schön, dass Bad verfügte über eine große Dusche und das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Parkplatzsituation ist befriedigend, vorm Hotel gibt es nur wenige Parkplätze, Ausweichplätze sind vorhanden. Das Frühstück war lecker mit guter Speisenauswahl und nettem Personal. Negativ und enttäuschend ist der sogenannte Spa Bereich. Es sind im Verhältnis zu der Zimmeranzahl viel zu wenig Liegen verfügbar. Das Innenbecken und die Saunen sind viel zu klein, weitere Ausweichsaunen sind nur gegen Aufpreis verfügbar. Die Bar ist in Ordnung aber preislich zu teuer. Gefühlt passt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis im gesamten nicht.
