All in all, it was good. The comfort room was big enough, as was the bathroom. However, the room was not cleaned, only the bed was made. The buffet area in the breakfast room is far too small. Otherwise, everything was there and it was constantly being refilled.

This is maybe the best you can get in Bad Wildungen city. Housed in a classic building which got modern additions, the general impression of its public rooms is good. Good location for walking to explore rest of town. They have a very nice modern Spa with an indoor and an outdoor pool with garden, which is very convenient. Internet works well and breakfast is served buffet style with everything necessary on offer. Parking available and dinner restaurant on premises. We had a Junior suite of average size with a normal modern bathroom and balcony. Shower pressure was very low and water temperatura erratic. As in many 3 & 4 star hotels post pandemic, service is limited. Nobody helped our suitcases to the room and there was no room explanations. The worst thing at this hotel is that they have no AC. We encountered 2 nights of high summer temperatures (27-28 C*) which made sleeping uncomfortable specially because the Germans insist in organizing beds with comforters. The room got hot during the day from direct sun and at night it felt like an oven. Unbelievable that, with such a valuable property, they do not invest in AC.

The hotel is located quite centrally opposite a rehabilitation clinic. The rooms are well-equipped and clean, and the hotel is nice overall. The service is very good in advance. For example, a parking space was reserved that was well suited to wider vehicles. As we were booked elsewhere, we unfortunately didn't have time for the wellness area, but the restaurant is good, even if the employees arguing in front of the kitchen provided some unintentional entertainment ("You just don't respect me..."). The breakfast buffet is very good, I've rarely seen such a selection of milk variants. I'd be happy to go back!

For a 4 star hotel of this size, the hotel still has room for improvement in terms of the rooms. The furnishings with carpets and bathtub for showering are very outdated. It is also very noisy. We were in the comfort room on the 3rd floor and it was a walk-through corridor. The three small saunas inside and the slightly larger sauna outside are much too small for the size of the hotel and the pool is also too small for swimming. We only had breakfast and that was great. The staff were professional and super friendly in the entire service area. Paulina at the bar deserves special mention; she always had a smile and had everything under control on New Year's Eve too. The solution with New Year's Eve in the bar including drinks and canapés (it was a great buffet and super tasty even for vegetarians!) We particularly liked the laser show outside on New Year's Eve; it was a very nice way to end the year. The staff at reception sometimes seemed overwhelmed or helpless. Our WiFi didn't work at all in our room on the 3rd floor (this was probably well known). After we asked several times, a member of staff provided us with a tray. I also had to ask several times both in the wellness area and at reception where the yoga course was taking place. This could be solved differently for the guests. We also particularly enjoyed the spring hike on New Year's Eve, the hiking guide was super informative, highly recommended. We didn't have any parking problems in the hotel car park, as some reviews write.

Hotel is good, wellness excellent. Breakfast is okay. Staff is friendly, except for a few at the reception. Only parking is a fiasco. If you don't have a place outside, which is often not the case, you can drive into the garage for €10 per day. I think it's a lot of money for a hotel where you pay almost €1000 per week with a mediocre breakfast for 2 people. We would have liked to come back again, but unfortunately not anymore.

A super nice old hotel complex, with attention to detail. We stayed there for 4 days and felt at home immediately after arriving. Plenty of free parking spaces + underground parking for a fee. The room on the 3rd floor was very clean and had a balcony. 1 bottle of mineral water and Nespresso machine are a big plus. The entire staff is very friendly and oriented towards everyone. Breakfast and evening buffet are excellent! Sauna and pool area a bit small, but the ambience is right, as is the spa area. Everything is lovingly furnished and decorated. We would gladly come again*

Nice hotel, nice room and clean, but no air conditioning and very hot, the lack of a refrigerator was also a shame. The hotel is located at a busy intersection, so sleeping with the window open was not a good option. No air conditioning anywhere in the hotel, so the dining room was also warm. Breakfast fantastic. Wellness: Finnish sauna was not on all 4 days, which is a shame, the swimming pools are lovely, tea, coffee and fresh cold water freely available. Many clinics around you, a typical recovery place, but gives a strange image in the restaurants and terraces. All in all we had fun, but we won't repeat it.

I have stayed there for a week every year for over 6 or 7 years. Always great. Excellent meals. Very spacious rooms. Pleasant and cozy spa. In short, you can stay there with your eyes closed. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The city is nice and offers a multitude of things to do. Shopping, walks.... there is something for everyone. See my other reviews on this hotel to find quite a few photos.
