Nice location, but relatively expensive
We had booked a room at the hotel, but it turned out the room was located in a separate 4 room cottage down a trail where we had to drive by car. We did not feel comfortable there, and room was relatively expensive. Therefore we drove back to the reception to ask for a room at the main hotel. In the reception they claimed that we had booked a room in the cottage. But no cottages were shown at booking by pictures or in writing, nor in our confirmation. After some discussion, we were upgraded to the last room available at the hotel. Had we known that the room would have been in such a cottage, we would never have booked it. The hotel itself was nice, the restaurant has a beautiful view over the valley. Dinner vs. quality (and waiting time) was expensive, the service in the restaurant was friendly.

Die Lage ist hervorragend.
Aber die WC Spülung ist so sparsam installiert worden, dass das Wasser nur langsam läuft und immer Stuhlreste im WC verbleiben.
Der Hausmeister hat versucht das zu reparieren aber offensichtlich war der Fehler schon länger bekannt und lässt sich nicht einfach beheben.
Bei einem guten Hotel sollte die WC Spülung schon funktionieren,….

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, das Hotel von außen eher unscheinbar, aber innen war es sehr schön, sehr sauber und modern. Wir waren etwas wandern und die Gegend ist sehr, sehr schön. Viele Fachwerkhäuser, etc. Wir haben die Sauna-Anlage genutzt, top. Umfassendes, leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Mir hat gefallen, dass es Rührei aus der Pfanne gab und daneben angebratenene kleine Speck-Würfel. Klasse. Eine interessante Extra-Geschichte: Ich hatte bei der Abreise meine Jacke inkl. Portmonee im Schrank vergessen. Nach einem Anruf war beides aufgefunden worden und man hat es mir direkt am nächsten Morgen per Express-Sendung geschickt (nach überweisen der Paketkosten versteht sich). Super Service! Vielen Dank nochmal für dieses pragmatische und unkomplizierte Vorgehen an die Chefin. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Wir haben Abends und Morgens des Öfteren eine größere, schwere Tür zuknallen gehört (oder etwas ähnliches, klang aber wie eine Tür). Evtl. sind es auch etwas grobmotorische Hotelbewohner, die ihre Türen zu heftig schließen. Aber wir konnten damit gut zurechtkommen.

Familienfeier in kleinen Kreis. Essen trocken und fade. Steak ok aber ohne jedwede Beilage. Potato wadges macht jede Pommes Bude. Kein Tagesgericht. Publikum überaltert. Essen reklamiert, keine Rückmeldung aus der Küche oder der Geschäftleitung. Weinkarte trauriger Einheitsbrei. War vor 20 Jahren wirklich gut. Was ist bloß los?

Komme gerne wieder
Business Trip für eine Nacht mit hervorragendem Spa (1 finnische Sauna, 1 Dampfbad, 1 Biosauna) mit kleiner Ruhezone. Frühstück war sehr vielfältig. Sehr ruhig gelegen, Parkplatz kostenlos.

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Parkplätze waren reichlich vorhanden, Zimmer in gutem Zustand und guter Größe. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, leider war ich nur für eine Nacht vor Ort.

Wir haben als Paar 3 Nächte im Juni 2024 ein ruhiges Doppelzimmer Standard gebucht. Wir bekamen das Zimmer 23 in der 2. Etage mit Terrasse. Abgesehen, dass das Zimmer und das Bad unverhältnismäßig klein sind, ist die Aussicht auf ein Ziegeldach in ca.3m Entfernung eine Zumutung. Da nutzt auch die Terrasse nichts. Man fühlt sich eingeengt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für dieses Zimmer ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Eine Umnutzung als Wäschelager oder Besenkammer wäre ratsam, zumal ein Fenster in den Gastbereich des Nachbarn hineinragt und deren Privatbereich gestört wird. Das geht aus unserer Sicht gar nicht. Positiv zu bemerken sei die Sauberkeit des Zimmers und die relativ neue Möblierung. In der Werbeschrift wurde mit dem Wellnessbereich und dem kostenlosen Nachtladen von E- Fahrzeugen geworben. In unserem Zeitraum wurden die Ladesälen auf kostenpflichtig umgestellt. Der Wellnessbereich war geschlossen. Ein Preisnachlass wurde diesbezüglich verwehrt. Aus diesen Gründen können wir dem Hotel nur 2 Sterne geben Fam. Pelz
