The Staatliches Kurhotel is a very quiet & pleasant hotel and located in the nice Kurpark of Bad Salzhausen. The hotel is easily reached by train. Service is correct and friendly. Since October 2022 the Justus-von-Liebig thermal baths, opposite to the hotel & not part of the Kurhotel, are permanently closed. The closure of the thermal bath & spa makes a stay at the Kurhotel less interesting. We had a very good stay. Recommend.

Lunch in the restaurant. Very friendly and attentive service. Small, fine card. Excellent in taste. Interesting offer e.g. fried herring, price also pleasant, but rather lower range for the quality and ambience.

The hotel is located in an area with several hotels. It looks luxurious. The price is not the same: it is not expensive. There is too little light in the room. They don't have BVN, the Dutch-language TV. There should be a list of channels near the TV, but there was none. At the reception they had never heard of BVN. The receptionist sits behind a wall, invisible to the customer, and sees you through a mirror. She certainly doesn't come right away, isn't always there anyway, and first finishes the chat she has with a colleague. Very unprofessional. The parking policy is very unclear. You don't know where to park. The half board policy is good and not expensive. The buffet is good. The wine is good. The beds are good and so is the bathroom. There is a fan in the room, in the absence of air conditioning. The breakfast is fine. Too bad there is no BVN.

Herrlicher ruhiger Park, praktisch keine Autos, Ruhe und Erholung vor der Türe. Im Hotel große Zimmer, schöner Ausblick, freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück ist allerdings entsprechend dem günstigsten Preis gewesen und die Kaffeemaschine ging leider nicht. Aber wenn man in einer schönen Umgebung zur Ruhe kommen will passt es. Restaurant in schöner Spazierweite. Therme ist ja seid langem geschlossen, nächste Bad Nauheim ca 30min.

Das Kurhaushotel liegt hervorragend am/ im
Kurpark. Die Lage ist toll, und alles so ruhig,
und das ganze Team war wirklich zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich.
Fazit: Ein gelungener Kurzurlaub.
