The Amber Hotel Bavaria exceeded all of my expectations, and I look forward to returning next year. I was leading a group of students from the US through Bavaria and looked for convenient locations for a few days near the Alps. Not only did this hotel work in that regard, but the value they provide to their guests is better than any European hotel I've ever stayed with. The breakfast is phenomenal as mentioned in other reviews, the rooms are spacious and air conditioned (barely needed in late May), the indoor pool and spa facilities are great, the location convenient and the staff were all (literally all the people I interacted with from check in to check out) incredibly helpful and considerate. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

This was an ok stay, our room was clean and quiet with comfortable beds but it didn't have any bathrobes which is odd for an spa hotel. There were a parking garage with extra payment. Breakfast was plentiful and the location is quite ok in the town. The best part for this hotel is the beautifully renovated spa area. We liked it a lot.

After the excellent experience last summer, we (Father, 2 sons, dog) returned to Amber Bavaria again this summer and we were confirmed in our choice. The service again was outstanding, especially the dog friendliness needs to be mentioned. Like before we had a „Suite Comfort Plus“ given us tons of space. The swimming pool is rather small, but sufficient for a quick swim and it has been nicely renovated compared to the year before. Breakfast (which has a lot of choice from the buffet) can be still taken (with dog) in a separate room- unfortunately this is not possible anymore for dinner- shortness in staffing also shows here. The location next to Karlspark is perfect for a morning or evening walk towards Bayrisch G‘main and the pedestrian zone is also close. Again can highly recommend this hotel.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel avec ma famille. Le personnel est adorable. Les chambres sont propres, très confortables et très spacieuses. L’espace piscine et sauna est super moderne, nous y avons passé de bons moments. Le restaurant de l’hôtel a un très bon rapport qualité prix. Au petit déjeuner on trouve un large choix de sucré et de salé. Bref super !

Ottimo albergo, accoglienza calorosa con calice di bollicine, stanza ampia ,colazione abbondante e varia, Abbiamo cenato all'annesso ristorante S.Zeno (prezzi accettabili). Garage con accesso comodo, costo contenuto rispetto quello dei parcheggi in città Al check-in, ticket in omaggio per raggiungere in treno Salisburgo.La stazione dista pochi metri dall'hotel.

Haben uns im Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Rezeption top, alle Informationen bei Check In bekommen. Personal sehr nett. Auch im Restaurant alles gut. Frühstücksauswahl lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wellnessbereich schön. Zimmer geräumig, Bäder scheinen frisch renoviert zu sein. Hatten unseren Hund dabei, auch das war überhaupt kein Problem. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage. Frühstück normal gut. Reinigung der Zimmer nur jeden 2-ten Tag. Bis hier alles OK. Beim Abendessen waren wir nur einmal. Überrascht wurden wir mit sehr schlechtem Sevice. Als Aperitiv "Kir Royal" wurde ein Glas Sekt serviert. Zum Essen (Rostbraten und Schweinebraten) wollten wir ein Glas Rotwein. Bestellt hatten wir einen Bardolino. Serviert wurde Chiaretto, zwar auch aus Bardolino, doch nicht passend zum Braten. Der Rostbraten, den wir medium gebraten bestellt hatten, wurde durchgebraten serviert. Die halbe Portion verblieb deswegen auf dem Teller. Beim Abräumen des Geschirrs fragte der Kellner, ob alles in Ordnung war-- natürlich war es nicht OK. Das verstand der Kellner allerdings nicht. Auch die angesprochene Dame an der Rezeption, Frau M. Reni'c - angeblich zuständig für Beschwerden- liess mich in einem arroganten und unfreundlichen Ton wissen, dass Kritik im Hause nicht angebracht ist . Soviel zum Umgang mit Gästebewertung im AMBER HOTEL BAVARIA in Bad Reichenhall. Kein Grund, dieses Hotel weiter zu empfehlen.

Wir waren hier als Gruppe eingecheckt und unser Erlebnis war durchwachsen. Obwohl wir für 3 Nächte gebucht hatten befanden sich keine Bademäntel auf dem Zimmer. Zimmerreinigung erfolgt im“Sinne der Umwelt“ nur alle 2 Tage. Der Welnnessbereich ist klein und beinhaltet 1 Dampfbad dass auch noch in den Bereich des Schwimmbad integriert ist. Die Mobils verbanden sich zwar an allen Orten mit dem WLAN, es gab jedoch keinen Zugang zum Internet. In meinen Augen überzieht das Management beim Sparen. Für das Gesamtangebot passen Lage und Preis nicht. Wir haben unseren Urlaub dann lieber in einem anderen Haus fortgesetzt.

Ein solides Hotel. Das Personal ist gut, Zimmer groß und sauber. Frühstück super. Das WLAN, Parken etc. alles vorhanden und funktioniert wie es soll. Der Preis ist meiner Meinung etwas hoch aber noch ok. Wir hatten absolut nichts anzumerken.
