We enjoyed ten wonderful days at this beautiful, well maintained and immaculately clean property in Summer. I appreciated how the team worked together to deliver excellent customer service. From the General Manager Heide and Resident Manager Stefan and Front Office team, right through to the hard working housekeepers and Restaurant Staff, everyone was approachable, friendly and committed to ensuring that we were well cared for--and we were! I loved the beds, they were were exceptionally comfortable, with top quality mattresses and clean, high thread count linens. Breakfast and dinner were of a very high standard, delicious food and great service. Many thanks to the Falkensteiner Muehlviertel team for making our stay extra special! This property is a jewel, very highly recommended, we definitely will return!

Unser Aufenthalt vom 4. Bis 22. Juni im Hotel Falkensteiner in Bad Leonfelden war wieder ein voller Genuss: Besonders glücklich waren wir darüber, dass jetzt in der warmen Jahreszeit das Außenbecken abends wieder offen ist, sodass wir sowohl nach dem Abendessen als auch vor dem Frühstück eine Stunde Schwimmen unter freiem Himmel genießen konnten. Große Freude hatten wir auch, weil uns das Hotel anlässlich unseres Hochzeitstages, ein wunderbares Arrangement mit Blumen, Torte und einem speziellen Dessert zusammengestellt hat. Voll freudiger Erwartung sehen wir schon unserem nächsten Urlaub in unserem Traumhotel entgegen.

Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung der Allgemeinflächen, der Zimmer und des SPA Bereichs hat mir sehr gut gefallen. An der Rezeption wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es für die Qualität des Essens, da einige Salate und Produkte beim Frühstück vorgefertigt waren und es an Frische und Individualität fehlte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, könnte aber besser ausgebildet sein. Das Fitnesscenter ist mit Top-Geräten ausgestattet. Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft und wir würden wieder kommen.

Wir waren bereits zum dritten Mal im Hotel und wir waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Essen war gut und auch mit der Auswahl an Getränken waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt für Wanderungen und auch der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön. Wir werden dieses Hotel sicherlich wieder für einen Kurzurlaub buchen.

Die Zimmer sind geräumig und schön. Eine Kaffeemaschine wäre wünschenswert. Der Restaurantbereich ähnelt einer Kantine, zu Stosszeiten wird es laut. Die Küche war gut, wenn auch wenig kreativ. Es fehlt eine Saftpresse für Smoothies beim Frühstück. Spa Bereich etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber gepflegt. Massage Therapeuten und Anwendungen sehr gut. Terrasse ähnelt einem Raucherbereich in einer Klinik: Kaputte Aschenbecher, eigentlich schöne Sitzgarnituren lieblos arrangiert, keinerlei Bepflanzung und das alles auf Betonplatten. Service sowohl am Tisch als auch auf dem Zimmer bemüht, aber irgendwas fehlt immer: Mal kommt ein Getränk nicht, mal ist es das schon fragwürdige Holzstäbchen im Zimmer, mit dem man seinen Tee versucht umzurühren. Rezeption in Ordnung, aber auch da gibt es Raum für Verbesserung hinsichtlich der Gastfreundlichkeit. Insgesamt sieht das nach liebloser Hausführung aus und ist einem 4* Superior nicht würdig.

Wir können die schlechten Bewertungen in keiner Weise verstehen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich prima. Waren wirklich schon in schlechteren 5 Sterne Hotels. Das Hotel ist wohl durchdacht konzipiert, vor ca 2 Jahren neu renoviert, modern und trotzdem sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Da hat sich jemand wirklich Gedanken gemacht und sein Handwerk verstanden. Die Zimmer sind sauber, alle mit Balkon mit Fliegengittertüre, einem tollen Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche und viel Ablagefläche! Den Wellnessbereich fanden wir sehr schön mit vielen Ruhebereichen sowohl im textilfreien ( Sauna) als auch im textilen Bereich! Uns war es nicht zu kalt. Die Saunaaufgüsse sind ein Genuss und dadurch auch sehr gut besucht. Für uns waren die 4 verschiedenen Saunen ausreichend. Auch dieser Bereich ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Auch das Essen können wir nicht bemängeln für ein Haus dieser Größe! Es war immer sehr lecker und auch viel Auswahl! Aber was dieses Haus für uns so attraktiv macht sind die Kleinigkeiten, wie die gute Nachtgeschichte täglich, den Osterhasen auf unserem Tisch am Ostersonntag, dass man sich an der Rezeption noch zusätzlich Kissen ( Kirschkern, Lavendel….) holen kann usw. Ein ganz großes Lob geht auch an das gesamte Team des Falkensteiner Bad Leonfelden, angefangen vom Chef des Hauses Christian Altenhain, der sich auch nicht zu schade ist seinen Gästen mal einen Cappuccino zu machen, bis hin zu den Mädels die für Sauberkeit sorgen. Auch den Servicemitarbeitern möchten wir danken, die flink und freundlich für unser leibliches Wohl gesorgt haben. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und kommen definitiv dieses Jahr nochmals wieder!
