Ein sehr schönes, familiär geführtes Hotel, wo jeder Gast super freundlich persönlich begrüßt und einen Rundgang bekommt. Das Essen und der Service war super. Wir waren nur 3 Tage dort und wären sehr gern länger geblieben.
Das Hotel ist wirklich zu Empfehlen.

During our week-long ski trip, we stayed at Hotel Gut Trattlerhof & Chalets, and it was an absolutely perfect choice. The hotel offers amazing cuisine, clean and beautifully decorated rooms, and a well-equipped spa area with stunning saunas and pools. One of the pools, a small outdoor one, became our daily relaxation spot. The proximity to the ski lifts is a huge advantage, making it an excellent choice for skiers. The hotel is run by a wonderful family who genuinely care about their guests, adding a personal touch to the experience. The beautiful decor throughout the hotel creates a unique and cozy atmosphere. After a day on the slopes, guests are welcomed with a delicious meal, including a perfect soup, a salad buffet, and delightful cakes. The meals are truly outstanding—always beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. Evenings were made even more enjoyable with live music, adding to the warm and welcoming ambiance. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Huge applause for the owners and the entire staff for their dedication and excellent service!

After 3 visits, I have a mixed experience: Positives: 1) location next to a charming river, very cute setting, directly on the mountain slope, in nature. Fantastic. 2) excellent and smily service & staff 3) Great spa, clean, spatious, numerous facilities. 4) free charging of electric cars Negatives: 1) no air conditioning in the rooms. The official reason given is that the hotel is next to a river, 1000m high, so it's fresh in the evening. Well, no : it was 26+ in the room in the morning and if you need to stay for some time in the room, it is not nice. I did not know this was even allowed in a 4* category. 2) Food quality and Hours are aimed at an Austrian audience, not international. Dinner closes at 20.30 (!), and better not come after 19.00 as they pack up everything 1 hour before the end (!). It is not only quite rude to pack up while everyone's eating, it's also not respecting the times. Also for breakfast: supposedly till 11am ; at 9.30am they start packing up and at 10am you need to request as there is no buffet left. Selection and quality also very basic both for Breakfast and Dinner, but there is not many qualitative options in the area anyway. 3) Rather rigid management : despite a beautiful evening and our repeated request, it was not possible to have dinner on the outside (empty) tables just next to the restaurant - you have to stay at your pre-set table in a hot room, even though half the restaurant is empty. Note: they have called me since the review and have taken the above points seriously apparently, so the above might have already changed. I might give it another go.

This is a fantastic, family run hotel with an amazing spa, in a lovely resort with some great skiing. We went on a package with Ski Weekends which included transfers from Klagenfurt airport (less than an hour away) and half board. We were very impressed with everything about the hotel from the rooms (very spacious, modern and clean) to the abundant food on offer at breakfast and afternoon tea and the fabulous 5 course dinners. A really great experience , such friendly and helpful staff, would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Very nice hotel with traditional Carinthia style. We spent one week for family summer holiday and it was the best holiday we ever been. Great breackfast and even better dinners. Especially Carinthia traditional dinner and gala dinner. We enjoy also indoor and outdoor relax pool and jim. Hotel is situated in strategic place to enjoy trips to Carinthia lakes, mountains and lots of fun areas for children. One day we will come.
