It is located in the city center and has a very spacious hall with a classical style. Opposite it is a large lawn and a musical fountain. Most of the restaurants serve Italian food, and it takes an extra 10 minutes to walk to the supermarket to buy daily necessities.

A very nice hotel with a prime location across from the Rose Garden and the Old Town. It was very quiet even though the hotel was fully booked. There was also an excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel has a rather nostalgic feel, but I really like that.

The hotel's location is superb, right next to the Rose Garden, making it very easy to find. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. We were riding our bikes, and there was even a lockable bike garage. We were able to charge our batteries there, too. Our room was very spacious, with a balcony and a view of the beautiful Rose Garden, even though we had booked a cheaper room overlooking the courtyard. The room completely exceeded our expectations. The price was unbeatable!

We have stayed at this hotel before although about ten years ago.We previously found this hotel very comfortable and accommodating and although when we walked into the hotel it felt as if we had never left. the service we received was quite poor and it felt as if the hotel shouldn’t have been open with the front doors closing at 8pm each evening.We booked a superior room which we had to have it ratified because it was extremely small and the furniture very dated and the bathroom was very claustrophobic.We wanted dinner on the Saturday evening and went down tto the restaurant only to find it Closed and when we enquired was told NO COOK not impressive.All in all a very forgettable experience and one certainly we will not be returning to the Bristol hotel.

Redelijk hotel in mooie omgeving Het hotel is aardig verouderd maar de kamer is goed en licht. De bedden zijn ook goed. Het ontbijt is prima. Het personeel is vriendelijk. De kamers hebben een heel kleine douche/wc. Geen airco. De kamers aan de voorkant hebben zicht op de rivier, een park langs de rivier en de oude stad. We hebben achter het hotel geparkeerd voor € 15,--. per nacht (duur). Dineren in het hotel is niet mogelijk.

Das Hotel wurde kurzfristig gebucht, die telefonische Buchung war freundlich und problemlos. Sehr positiv zu vermerken ist die Lage unmittelbar am Kurpark und der äußerst freundliche, aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Empfang. Indes zieht sich durch das Haus im retro-Stil doch viel Renovierungsbedarf - insbesondere Teppichböden im Zimmer und auf dem Balkon. Das Frühstück ist recht durchschnittlich mit einigen Fertigprodukten.

Ich hatte das Hotel spontan als 'walk in' für 2 Nächte gebucht. Es hat nach Corona erst am 01.05.23 wieder eröffnet und die sehr unterschiedlichen Bewertungen hatten mich 'irritiert'. Ich wollte mir pers. ein Bild machen. Kurz nach Betreten der Lobby war mir aber klar, dass es 'passt'. Anbau mit Schwimmbad und Sauna sind auf unbestimmte Zeit nicht nutzbar, da sie saniert werden müssen. Lt. Website hat die Sauna geöffnet, aber es gibt derzeit Probleme mit dem Zugriff auf diese. Ansonsten erwartet den Gast ein 'gewachsenes' Hotel mit einer Menge Geschichte und von A-Z freundlichem Personal! Der Altbau generell hat m.E. wirklich Charme, der neu gestaltete Innenhof mit alter Kastanie und Teich lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Hotel wird derzeit als 'Garni' betrieben. Ich hatte ein EZ der Komfort-Kategorie im Altbau mit Balkon und Blick auf den Rosengarten (Nr. 136), renoviert inkl. Bad mit Badewanne. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ordentlich, die Atmosphäre im 'alten Speisesaal' wunderbar, der Teil im Anbau eher 'quadratisch, praktisch, gut'. Ich komme gerne wieder....

Geräumige Zimmer, direkt am Rosengarten. Leider ist das Hotel sehr in die Katze gekommen. Das Frühstück war bereits eine halbe Stunde vor Ende der Frühstückszeit aufgegessen, sodass wir keines mehr bekamen. Zentral gelegen, Restaurants fußläufig.
