Villa Seilern Vital Resort
4.4/552 Reviews
Beautiful and quiet hotel in the centre of the event. We were with 6 people in the framework of our business trip in the Villa Seilern. Special emphasis is the friendliness of the staff throughout the house. Mr Vlach our servant has excellent advice and service and the restaurant manager has also been very effortless. Breakfast buffet was excellent, nothing was missing and people with intolerance also find many choices. We would only book breakfast and eat in the a la carte restaurant at the next visit. The dinner in the semi-pension was offered as a buffet during our stay, which was unfortunate, as it resulted in 6 people who are up for pre-, main, and after-food, selection etc. a certain disturbance occurs and the food is then unfortunately on the table until again all sits just more lawful. This is really the only negative thing, because the quality of the food offered was good and the kitchen has made a effort, also with the presentation. In the evening we were mostly on a screen at the hotel's very comfortable bar - also here very pre-common service! Specially beautiful and beautifully quiet was also the wellness area with the lift. Read a book that try different saunas or take a round in the indoor pool - simply relaxing. The rooms are well equipped with (depending on category) walkable shower, separate toilet and a beautiful balcony. There are very good natural products for body care (douche gel, body lotion, soap etc.). We have enjoyed the stay and can recommend the villa seils.
Boutiquehotel Hubertushof

I cannot praise this hotel more highly. After the previous hotel I used to stay at in Bad Ischl went bankrupt I was personally recommended this hotel and have always felt comfortable whether in Summer or at Christmas. This hotel is part of the town and landscape and belongs to the holiday. The family is a joy to know, the staff and service likewise. Nothing is too much trouble and we have a laugh and a joke along the way. I count the family and staff as friends. The food is excellent. Breakfast is a treat with more food coming in all the time. The evening meals are a feast - four courses of excellent food with recommendations for wine. The rooms are rustic and very comfortable - that's what the Salzkammergut is famous for. The rooms with a veranda are excellent, as is the honeymoon suite with four-poster bed. The reception has recently been renovated but the Kaminzimmer is still a comfortable lounge. The Austrians have a word for it - „Gemütlich“. The indoor pool and spa area is open from 7am till 7pm. The steamroom grotto needs to pre-booked and the sauna opens officially at 2pm, but the owner never objected to me switching it on the morning as long as I used it responsibly (on a rainy day). Beautifully located on the edge of the town centre and next to the entrance to the Kaiserpark and Villa. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next stay.
Stadthotel Goldenes Schiff

We spent a great holiday at Stadthotel Goldenes Schiff and can really recommend it. All in all just TOP!!! 🥰 The room was clean and tidy with a spectacular river view from the huge window. The interior is modern, there is also available a tablet in the room that can help you to find any information that you need during your stay in this beautiful hotel. The foods were 5 stars; a rich breakfast buffet and delicious modern menus in the evening. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Their English is perfect. The Wellness area is a dream. Have some choices of sauna, fitness/gym area, also a great chilling area with a wonderful view of Traun. Last but not least, the location is TOP! In the center of Bad Ischl, which makes you easy to go anywhere, or get anything you want. As for me who likes running, I enjoyed my running time around the hotel and the river, the view is so spectacular. Keep it up!! Hope someday we can come back to this hotel again. 😊
