Warm and friendly reception when checking in on May 2 in the afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. No, this is not a 5 star and it doesn’t claim to be, but the staff are friendly, the rooms have everything you need, and they are clean. Breakfast and dinner were very good with multiple food selections and dessert. The table service was friendly and efficient. Note you pay separately for all beverages but the prices are reasonable. The welcome Prosecco was a nice touch. We had free admission to the Alpentherme and the hotel had everything together in a tote including slippers, towels and robes waiting in our room. It is a leisurely 8-10 minute walk to the spa. The view from our balcony was awesome. Free underground parking. 100% would recommend and would stay again.

First of all don’t believe the pictures, the hotel is under 3 stars hotel, also overpriced for 3 hotel price The manager is rude, as he said with exactly letter “ i have the money now if you want to leave the hotel, leave “ we came from 8h flight as we see the apartment is the other side of the hotel we need to go up and down because of the stairs. We book as non-refundable but after we check the hotel we couldn’t stay for the night. We tried to contact booking to cancel the reservation but the hotels declined the request. The female manager didn’t won’t to go outside here office to talk to us she keeps sending the receptionist boy. At the night there is alot of noise in the apartment, also for 4 persons there is only 1 toilets. I don’t recommend anybody to book the hotel before he comes here and see what he is looking for.

Very good accomodation: spacious and clean room, with nice-view balcony and clothes harse; minor faults in room appliances. Very quiet. Free parking in garage. Excellent breakfast, dinner not equally satisfactory mainly due to time being 8 pm and staff being eager to finish service. Other inconvenience being finding no-one at the reception at 10 pm, crazy, no previous notice : we had to help ourselves behind the desk to get the room key.

We were in Das Gastein in July 2022. We had decided at very short notice to extend our annual vacation by 4 nights, and Das Gastein came to mind. A quick phone call, email confirmation and we were able to drive off. Overall, the staff was super nice and we felt very comfortable from the first minute. We booked half board and didn't regret it. Everything was delicious. The price-performance rating also includes the fact that the Gastein mountain railways AND the thermal baths are included: a real hammer. Highly recommended.

Basically it is a traditional hotel. Upon arrival, the friendly receptionist sent us to an underground car park in the annex building. I couldn't believe that and asked extra twice. Of course that was wrong, because the underground car park is actually in the same building. Of course, the key didn't fit and got stuck. When I tried to pull it off it broke off. Instead of apologizing for the bad April Fool's joke, I was fined 70 euros on the bill. Never again!

All in all a great hotel, why 3 stars? It deserves 4, the food is excellent, would be recommended for a toque, the staff and hotel facilities are TOP, the rooms are spacious, the buffet is sufficient even for full people, the location is great for the thermal baths! We stayed for 3 days/2 nights at short notice and it exceeded our expectations! Parking garage included! Yes, we will be back! Please keep the hotel rating, so PRICE-PERFORMANCE is simply TOP!
