Das Hotel ist schnell zu finden, liegt sehr zentral im Ort und ist trotzdem idyllisch am Park. Alles fußläufig schnell zu erreichen. Der Parkplatz war kostenlos hinter dem Hotel. Wir hatten jeweils ein komplett neu renoviertes und sehr sauberes Zimmer; auch das Bad war komplett neu. Die Mitarbeiter im Haus waren sehr nett (auch wenn das Frühstückspersonal teilweise kein Deutsch konnte). Frühstück war reichlich und in ausreichender Auswahl. Auch hier war der Frühstücksraum neu und sehr sauber. Jederzeit kommen wir gerne wieder!

The hotel is located away from all the hustle and bustle in a residential area. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the market square. We didn't expect that and at first thought the address was wrong. First of all, we were pleasantly surprised that there is a sufficiently large parking lot at the hotel. The welcome was warm, everything was prepared. The next surprise was that the spa area was open. There's a sauna, a steam room, and a surprisingly large pool. It's not an Olympic pool, of course, but it's pleasantly large and nicely done for a hotel. The room wasn't very large, but was perfectly adequate for our purposes. Due to the location of the hotel away from tourism, the night was pleasantly quiet. Even the construction work we feared could not be heard. Apparently some rooms are being renovated. Only a barking dog in one of the rooms was not so great. As a tourist you don't necessarily have to get up at 6:00 in the morning. The breakfast wasn't lavish, but perfectly adequate. Everything seemed fresh and tasted good. The staff constantly made sure that everything was still available at the buffet at 9:00 a.m. Check-out went smoothly, everything was prepared again. All in all we were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back.

The facility was very clean and beautifully furnished. However, according to pictures, we had booked another room. The current room was not worth the price of almost 160 euros.
We had problems with heating or air conditioning.
Unfortunately, the radio in the bathroom has not worked too.
The breakfast was very amazing. A lot of choice and I think for everyone there.
The parking is not included in the price (10€ per night) and parking facilities are available outside with about 5 walk minutes.
I think this hotel is only good for business travel.
Otherwise the bed is very comfortable and the place in the
Room is sufficient.
Unfortunately, there is no refrigerator available in the room.

Das Hotel der Achtermann hat vom Empfang her einen guten Eindruck gemacht. Auch die Zimmer mit ihrer Ausstattung waren zufriedenstellend. Der Wellnessbereich hat uns ebenfalls gefallen, allerdings waren die Saunen ( 3 Stück ) zum Teil nicht beheizt, bzw. nicht auf die angegebene Temperatur beheizt. es gab keine Angabe warum nicht. Nicht zufriedenstellend war das Frühstück vom Buffett. Die Bratwürste ( noch hell ) waren kalt und hatten anscheinend keine Pfanne in der Küche zum Anbraten gesehen. Auch das Rührei war kalt, die Warmhalteplatten waren offensichtlich nicht in Betrieb.

We arrived yesterday, and the hotel has met and exceeded our expectations. First, the staff are amazing. Polite, freindly, well informed and good English. We were given a map and shown the best routes to various sites. The recommended restaurant was excellent amd am experience in itself. 5 stars to all! Secondly, the room met our needs perfectly, with a bedroom on the upper level and the sofa bed set up and ready for the second sleeper. The beds, pilliw and linens were very comfy. The balcony with table and chairs was an added bonus. Thirdly, the elegant and modern bathroom was top notch, from the toilet paper to the makeup mirror. The shower had good pressure, enough hot water and plenty of towels, I am now enjoying a very, very delicious latte and juice on the sunny terrace, as I decide on the breakfast choices from the buffet. Highly recommended and very glad we are booked for a second night!

The positive thing was that the room had a terrasse and everything in the room was OK. The view from the hotel (but not our room) is great. The bad: The wifi didn't work. I asked one employee and she said; ”The wifi always works. If you can't get it to work, then YOU are doing something wrong” and then she left!!! Tried to talk to another staff member, but other than showing me the password, she couldn't / wouldn't help. The next morning it - as by a miracle - worked, without us doing anything. Talked to a 3rd employee (the manager?) when checking out, and he said that the staff doesn't know anything about the wifi, and showed me it worked. However, at the same time, the network to the credit card terminal stopped working... The trash can in the room smelled so badly from smoking/cigarettes I had to place it outside. Had to reserve a timeslot in the restaurant, even though it was almost empty (other hotels and restaurants in Germany simply asks you to fill out a form for Corona tracking purposes)... The room was very small.

The sauna costs €6.50 for the hot energy. It would be OK if it were with the booking and the infrared cabin would work.
Eating breakfast is not special.
Well, a bread had been taken right away from the previous day.
The breakfast service is friendly, but runs unplanned through the area. You run empty on tables over which would be clean,make your tables clean or cover a rather than fill up food and drink. You stood in front of half-leaning buffet, even water bottles were not exchanged.
The room was simplely furnished and the bed was comfortable.
If you wanted to have a made bed and waste pack, you had to give a card at the reception.
Only then was room service performance.
The room was clean in itself,but covers and floor corners appear to know the puzzle woman not because there have been spine tissues. After my request to remove them,they had removed.
