In einem Schloß zu nächtigen ist etwas besonderes, dachten wir uns und haben es nicht bereut. Wir wurden von einem sehr freundlichen Rezeptionisten begrüßt und willkommen geheißen. Wir bekamen eine gute Erklärung zum Aufzug, der schon in die Jahre gekommen und sehr klein ist. Mein Mann hat ihn benutzt, ich habe die Schloßtreppe genommen. Beides für ältere Menschen nicht ganz einfach.

Knarziger Fußboden, aber urig. Leider wird das Ambiente in Zukunft leiden, denn es sind sehr große neue Anbauten im Park geplant. Mit Tagungen kommt man als Hotel heute sicherer über die Runden. Zimmer groß. Empfang professionell. Fahrradgarage wird "sehr spät" abgeschlossen. Wir dürfen die Akkus zum Laden mit ins Zimmer nehmen, macht das Leben leichter, wenn man nur ein Ladegerät dabei hat - sonst heißt es immer, ginge nicht wegen Brandgefahr, was auch verständlich ist. Im Park kann man abends sitzen, es wurde uns wegen Regen sogar ein Tisch unter das Zelt getragen. Frühstück gut. Preis in Ordnung. Wir würden wiederkommen, aber BAD Friedrichshall hatten wir und netter vorgestellt. Bad Wimpfen ist aber in Fahrradweite, das lohnt einen Umweg.
