Very positive: an antigen test is carried out for every arriving guest in addition to 2 G! Temperature measurement takes place automatically in front of the “Spiegelsaal” (breakfast room). We stayed in a comfort room that had obviously just been renovated. The bed is super comfortable and height adjustable. A large balcony, sitting area, closet and chest of drawers with safe, flat screen TV on the wall and, as a highlight, a "fireplace" make the room very homely and spending time there is pleasant. There are emergency buttons throughout the room and in the bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The toilet is 52 cm high, higher than average, making it easy to use for people with limited mobility. There is a health area in the basement with a large fitness room, a wonderfully warm brine bath, rooms for treatments and a spa and wellness area. Here we were pampered with hot stone massages and a Kraxen oven. There are also many different saunas and a nice lounge area with free water and tea. Of course there is also a relaxation room here. All the staff at the hotel are extremely friendly. The food in the bistro is extremely tasty, even if the menu is not large. Then why don't I give it 5 stars? The breakfast buffet is very tasty and quite extensive. As a hotel guest, you sit in a small, separate part of the dining room, which is also used by the short-term guests staying here. It's more like a canteen and everyone, including hotel guests, has to clear their own dishes. We sat in the bistro until around 10 p.m., although the last orders are only taken until 8 p.m. Then, without warning, all the lights went out and we had to find our way to the lift in the dark. A friendly “we would like to finish work now” would certainly have been appropriate and then of course we would have gone to the room.
