Best Hotels near Bacolod city, Bacolod

We were staying in this hotel for like 3 days last month. I thought they were just like the other hotels we have stayed at, where the employees and staff are doing well, polite, respectful to their clients, etc., but I guess I was a bit wrong. Moreover, it was my first experience from this hotel that every day we have to jump in or transfer to another room for so many reasons, and to be honest, we were integrally aggravated because we had to fix and gather our stuff again before transferring. That idea from them was too awful. Additionally, the first room that we were in was spacious, and we had our own cabinet, but when we were transferred to our rooms on the second and third days, I really didn’t like it because the room was too small; it didn’t have any cabinets or hangers to hang our clothes. We were paying the right amount of money per day, although it is very expensive and the hotel had no elevators, yet I don't know if they were providing or giving us small yet uncomfortable rooms considering that I availed of the room just like the first day that we were put into. Hence, the second and last rooms on our second and third days are really not reasonable.

I love how clean my room was, I hope for new pillows. They were not fluffy enough. I had a good sleep though. The staff were also pleasant. I love the K9 named wattatops. I also would like to suggest to add fruit looks on your cereal for breakfast and more food choices for buffet.

The suites was definitely a gem in the heart of bacolod, the hotel accessibility to places such as church, mall, restaurants, banks and pharmacy is strategically good, that you can just walk to get to your destination. Personnel at the front desk is accomodating and fast, also I called them 1 week prior to confirm my booking, they answer the phone right away. There's a tv which has cable, bathroom is also clean with toiletries included, lot's of towel (body & face towel provided), the aircondition also cools fast. A stay here is definitely worth coming back

This hotel is not 4 star hotel at all! I dont know what kind of criteria they are looking but this is not a 4 star hotel. The worst stay ever I had in the Philippines. The hotel itself does not have an exhaust! When it is very hot outside, they turned on the air con full blast! in the ground floor and then in the room, other than that it would feel like a sauna. So we stayed here & booked for 4 days, the second night I wanted a refund because the room was firstly cold when the aircon is turned on when its hot it feels like you're in the sauna. This is where I even got more sicker, as I could not sleep due to the loud sound of the airconditioned! It was very unpleasant! We've moved rooms 3 times in this few days when we stayed. The first room was horrible; it was on the 4th floor! It was depressing! The bathroom was not cleaned at all! It was like one of the rooms that were not used for the last 3 years, the shower head was full of rust even the bidet! I would not even try to use it to clean my bum! It was even dirtier than my bum! Disgusting! So I complained about this & they told us to move to another room which was more renovated on the 3rd floor! This time it was ok! So we said we stay here but then all the shower head was also not nice & they had to change it! At night when using the shower, it started to flood, so I had to call the reception & at midnight the technician had to fix it! The restaurant had gone downhill as well. There are many waiters and waitresses just standing there and sometimes they dont have a clue! The food was OK. But I questioned the cleanliness of it! There was once at the restaurant during breakfast when the other table was finished and the customers left, the waitress just took all the plates and glasses and also the paper placemat & replace it with a new one without even cleaning the table! Disgusting! I called the attention of them & told them that they need to clean it as there was still some dirty stuff from the other customers. So they were quick splashed it water and wipe it with cloth. We also went for lunch once and the food served was cold, we complained but they said it was made new & I asked the waiter who served it to try because it was cold, so they had to give a new set of fries! Afterwards we dont eat here anymore as I felt that the food being served or made is not fresh! At one point i felt very sick as i could not sleep very well due to the loudness of the aircon & requested for a refund, they moved us to a matrimonial bed! At first we can try but then the last few days I really became very ill! Anyhow, we spoke to the General Manager and he even apologised and also gave him some suggestions! But he told me that they are still recovering from the pandemic! I also want to add that the business room is nothing like a business room it was like a storage room for luggage and cables were everywhere with 1 computer inside & charging you ridiculous peso for printing or scanning; the

I and my friends just got home from campuestuhan highland resort,.I guess I need to write and post this review for them to evaluate their service and all. 1. SLOW AND POOR ONLINE PAYMENT TRANSACTION- it should be a surprised birthday celebration for our friend and it was planned by his husband but the thing was it was difficult to call someone in their side who will assist and confirm If the payment was received by them. We paid in half for 2 days, and when were about to check out my friend settled the balance of our stay. She was so shocked that the amount endorsed by the their staff is not the same amount she deposited in advance. .. good thing was one of our friend managed to keep the receipts in his email.. You guys should have a proper endorsement, specially in this kind of stuff. As what I observed in your information desk or F.O you don’t have any telephone or even a desktop where you can monitor your coming and outgoing guest. it is very important because most of the people will transact through online to easily without hustle. 2. ATTITUDE and POOR SERVICE - when we arrived we don’t feel a warm welcome by the Front office staff, or just ask how’s your travel or what because we’re so delayed to check in because of some malfunction of the car. I’m not saying here the we want to be felt important. I’m just giving you a tip on how to make your first time guest to be your repeated guest. And when we’re about to check out not even the F.O or the guards when we left said. thank you for visiting or come again, or How’s your stay at campuestuhan. .. .. it’s just so sad if all of the guest that came here feel what we felt. I don’t know why some of their staff in the restaurant, when we will ask question they don’t make an eye contact. And I don’t like how annoyed their face look like.. they keep doing what they’re doing even we asked them a question. And the end we don’t understand what they said. 3. INEFFICIENT HOUSEKEEPING- I don’t know if the housekeeping staff knows that we’re four staying in a Bonita hut but they given us 2 towels only, good thing we brought some towels. It’s really hard to call or ask them because you have to walk before you can ask what you need. .so by the next day good thing they give us complete toiletries including toothbrushes as well. 4. LACK OF AMENITIES- the room is nice but there is no TV, no ref no telephone.so sad. 5. WE JUST LOVE THE PLACE AND THE VIEW.

I stay in hotels 200+ nights a year, both for work as a healthcare professional traveling around the U.S. and for leisure in Asia, where I live. In recent memory this is the ABSOLUTE WORST hotel that I have stayed in. Saying it is HORRIBLE is not an apt description. Think worse, MUCH WORSE. Staff were rude, insolent, indifferent and were the least representative of ”hospitality” that you could imagine. My wife and I were traveling separately because I was flying back home from the U.S. and she was coming from up island. We normally stay in a much better hotel each time I get back from an overseas contract, but our usual hotel was booked out. The hotel looked ”okay” on the website. Not in real life. Despite numerous emails and texts, one that very morning, about my wife arriving ahead of me and occupying the room the front desk staff made her sit in the lobby for 2+ hours because the room was ”Not ready”. The only thing that would have made this room ready was a wrecking ball. This hotel has set a new sub-standard of excellence. If you lowered the bar any further a snake couldn't slither under it. Grime, filth, rust, the bathroom vent fan hanging out of the ceiling, the room ”safe”, a shoebox sized box, didn't work, but no worries, it had been ripped from the wall previously, so you could just carry it with you under one arm. Just getting into the room was an adventure as the entry tile was buckled so that you couldn't open the entry door completely. You couldn't open the adjacent closet door either, but that really didn't matter since this hotel does not provide hangers. Really. No hangers. The pool, viewed from our room, might have been inviting to cool off, if it hadn't been for the lovely ”Frog Pond Green” hue of the water. We asked for extra towels and an extra pillow. Those come at a cost. The next day housekeeping took the clean (extra) towels out of the room, but left the dirty ones on the floor. Then the front desk called and said that we needed to pay the ”daily rental” for the extra pillow. Otherwise they would be sending someone up to collect it. After the 2nd night we'd had enough. Really, we would have shifted sooner but I was jet lagged from 30 hours of transit from the U.S. back home and, really, could it get any worse? Well, yes. Day 2 I awoke to find a construction worker on the access balcony outside our room's window. At 0605 hours. Peering in. Silly me. We were on the 4th floor, why did I need to worry about drawing the drapes. He smiled and waved. This would be a great place to stash your hated mother-in-law, worst enemy or evil boss. The staff seem to be taking their hospitality cues from binge-watching the PURGE movie series. The ONLY redeeming factor is the SM Mall located about 0.3 km away. The epitome of you get what you pay for, but budget should not mean low quality, rooms are far from the pics they show, it was very small for family room standards, cobwebs, dirt on the edges & corners of the room,this shows very very poor housekeeping, should have backed out upon seeing the entrance, uncut grass, dirty facade, upon entering, you are greeted with a musty smell, also, bathrooms is as unappealing as the room, there was also the sound of something gnawing on wood, but to be fair,AC was good, WIFI fast & stable, location is very good, but sadly that's it, to the owners of this hotel, please improve, your location and pricing is hard to beat, cancelled my 2nd day coz I was concerned of my family's health, the 200 peso cancellation fee was well worth it

The location is near the hospital where my father was confined. The place is accessible and located in the city center. The staff are friendly and accommodating. You will feel their warmth welcome. Nice place and clean. I will recommend it to my friends and family. We'll surely visit once we get back to Bacolod City. Good management and well trained staff. You will feel at home. I hope that they will also include breakfast in their service....

The room was very clean and comfy. I had an amazing stay however, I am a busy person and prefer to stay inside the room most of the time. I don't have much time in the world to go out and look for someplace to eat. I suggest you find someone to partner you in providing food for your guests especially during the night or early mornings. The staff were nice and accommodating, however, I don't feel any sincerity at all. They all look pleasant but boring, I suggest you should include in your training in teaching them to at least smile, after all, you are from the city of smiles. I was thinking they were only trying their best to be nice just for the sake of doing their jobs. They could have been more welcoming. Thank you for the excellent service though! :)

This is a slightly down-at-the-heel place that could benefit by a touch-up. Don't let that put you off though. This resort/hotel has some of the friendliest, politest, helpful staff that I have recently encountered. I ended up here after an absolutely dreadful experience at another Bacolod hotel, which I had fled after the 2nd night of a 7 night stay. This was a breath of fresh air. Literally. It's outside the city, about 200 meters off the highway, the grounds are covered in greenery and the air was actually clean-smelling. Which is something if you've ever been in Bacolod. It is a bit isolated, and I strongly recommend having the Grab Ride Hailing app on your phone as taxis don't patrol here, but there is a shopping center 0.3 km (easy, flat walk) away. The on-site restaurant is decent and it's incredibly quiet and peaceful. It's a favorite spot for weddings and receptions, but all was quiet every night of the 4 night stay by 2000 hours. Again, what makes this place a gem is the staff. Really, why do you stay at a hotel, and why do you return to a hotel again and again? It's not necessarily the chocolate on your pillow or the brand name. It's the STAFF that make your stay. This is a hotel where the staff will MAKE YOUR STAY (Sorry, had to go all Dirty Harry there). Really though, great value, peaceful, quiet. Recommended.
