Very nice clean hotel. Because it is a sister property to XO Lake Front Hotel which is on the Lago Bacalar we were able to swim in the lake accessing it directly from the hotel property, also we were able to use kayaks and wake boards, all included in price. Breakfast also was included in price and served on high patio overlooking the lake.

Wasn't sure what to expect as I read other reviews that were not so great, but most were old. All in All I thought for the price we paid it was a good choice. The good... It was very close to the lake, just walk through the XO hotel and down steps. There were two swings in the water and a small pier. There was a small swimming pool and several lounges. There was a restaurant. A buffet Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. Room was clean and comfortable. It had a tv, all Spanish stations - but we are in Mexico. There were free kayaks. They would arrange a massage by the lake and pontoon tours. We did a 5 hour tour for 800 pesos! Great price and great tour. The people at the front desk were very helpful ... using google translate..The staff in the restaurant were very nice... very little english... again, we are in Mexico! I think we got a welcome drink, but we forgot to get it... they made me special pancakes for my burthday-no charge! The ok's... no safe in room, no coffee until 8am, scratchy towels, the road from 307 bumpy. town not close enough to walk to.. But we paid about $80 a night and I am not sure that you would find anything this close to the lake at this price. Would I stay there again? Not sure, but not because of anything the hotel did or didn't do. If it is in your price range and you have a car... It's a good choice.

***BE WARNED*** THIS HOTEL IS NOT AS ADVERTISED AND IS FAR MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MUCH BETTER OPTIONS IN BACALAR. The photos suggest it by the lake, it is not. Then if you look on the website it says "100 meters away from the Bacalar Lagoon", it's actually a 10min walk to the nearest entrance to the lake. You can't even view the lake from the hotel as other hotels are in the way. There is no pool either. It is far more expensive than much better options on the lake, you're wasting your money and time if you stay here. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID OF BOOKING THIS HOTEL!

Pésimas condiciones, viejo el hotel sin tener el mínimo interés de invertirle , toallas viejas No hay estacionamiento seguro, muy caro el restaurante , pésima alberca , muy poca agua en los baños , internet muy pobre No lo recomiendo Sábanas colgadas a mitad de patio

Pésimo servicio, llegue y no funcionaba el clima me cambiaron de habitación y el costo de la habitación era 50 % menos de costo y la habitación pésima, me regresan de nuevo a la habitación al día siguiente que había pagada y no teníamos agua de verdad no lo vale ese hotel y las fotos no corresponden a la realidad. Y cada ves que les comentaba se molestaban y decían que solo eran de la recepción no vale ni un peso. Incluye el desayuno pero era pésimo el desayuno. La entrada al hotel terrible también. Estancia del 14 al 17 de junio del 2023

El hotel no es lo que promocionan, no son explícitos para proporcionar información en la reserva. Tienes que cruzar la calle para ir a una zona de cuartos que tiene un acceso a la laguna.

Muy buenos operarios, excelente lugar, pesimo desayuno, no dieron lo prometido, no Huevos, no jugo de naranja, chilakiles fríos, pan tostado frío y del día anterior, el conchon espantoso, la atención excelente, pero según comentarios de los empleados, que según se van poco a poco, el dueño no quiere invertir UNA LÁSTIMA.

El personal no está calificado para darte una grata experiencia de servicio solo Desean venderte sus tours. Las toallas percudidas, la vialidad de ingreso en muy malas condición, no hay ningún señalamiento que te indique donde entrar entonces debes usar el Google maps. Las chicas del aseo se ponen a cotorrear afuera de las habitaciones y no te permiten dormir más tarde. Jamás recomendaría este lugar ya que encontramos mejores opciones incluso al mismo precio.
