Wonderful hotel. Comfy beds. Amazing shower. Tasty breakfast. Beautiful gardens. Very friendly family owners. The place is very peaceful located in the countryside but easy to find.

We are pilgrims on the Camino. The host and his mother made us feel extremely welcome. The homemade soup was delicious and the room comfortable, clean and welcoming. Lunch was homemade sandwiches for great value. Would definitely stay again.

A perfect place for 2 weary pilgrims to relax. Modern dorm, very clean and great facilities including a pool. Evening meal was served poolside and was great value and tasty. Hospitable staff and host ensured our stay was memorable. Host even drove several kms to Azinhaga, to deliver our overlooked lunch items to us that we had left behind. Amazing act of kindness.

We arrived at this lovely guesthouse after a very long hot walk on the Camino. The family were so kind and helpful and we were able to go into our room early and then use the wonderful pool to cool down. They served us a lovely meal outside and as we were leaving very early the next day they prepared us a takeaway breakfast.

Paulo is the perfect host, he is very attentive to your needs, and looks after you well, check in was super easy once we had a beer in hand! The accommodation is lovely, especially the pool, after a 10 mile Peregrino walk in the hot sun. The pilgrims meal was lovely, which so kind, because he only cooks for the pilgrims.

Very nice and cozy place to stay. Clean rooms, swimming pool in the yard, lots of nature around, helpful hostes, delicious food. We stayed there for only one night, būt stiklo had a great time with family .

On arriving I was met by a breath of fresh air named Leonor! She was so helpful to me and after checkin she coordinated getting my rucksack sent ahead as it was broken and I could not walk with it and further. She is friendly, bubbly, efficient, polite and confident. After a 28ks walk in the Portugese sun this place is ideal to rest and recover. The dinner of soup and salad was great and I thought the pool topped the day off perfectly until I had a super shower and hit the bed. Heaven! I really enjoyed my stay, everything was perfect to the smallest detail - I highly recommend Casa das Portas!!

Wonderful place!! Great modern room and bathroom, beautiful surroundings with lovely garden and a nice pool. And a friendly, welcoming staff. Offered both supper and breakfast (but I didn't try it because of stomach issues that day). I can absolutely recommend this place!!
