Fabulous Victorian Building in a stunning cherry tree lined street. Superb Scottish breakfast too. A really hospitable host and the direct booking and pre check in was excellent. I highly recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Ayr.

We had an amazing time here at Lochinver Guest House. I never stay anywhere else when I am visiting Ayr. Sinclair, Berthold and their amazing team of staff were all so friendly, accommodating and delivered a 5⭐️ service. Amazing variety of foods for Breakfast, Full Lochinver breakfast is very tasty and scrambled eggs are the best. Rooms are beautiful, beds are so very comfy too. Highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed. ⭐️

A repeat visit, and now we would not stay anywhere else when visiting Ayr. Streets ahead of the hotel we used on our first visit. Sinclair's attention to detail makes all the difference. Easily my top B&B.

Had a very enjoyable one week stay with my wife on holiday. Nicely situated and parking good. Room very comfortable and well equipped and quiet. Lovely breakfast, everything you could need.

Used for a one night break as a birthday surprise and was well worth it. Interior was beautiful with period features, staff excellent, spotless clean and breakfast was bang on. We would definitely stay again

Brilliant 3 day stay at the Lochinver,this is our fourth stay here and I can honestly say that it is one of the best guest houses we have had the pleasure to stay at,Sinclair the owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and all the little extras he provides for his guests are a bonus.The breakfast is also lovely and you are spoilt for choice.Another bonus for us is Sinclair provides all his guests with a parking permit so you are able to park yards from the property.We would highly recommend anyone looking to spend anytime in Ayr to consider Lockinver guest houses,I can assure you,you won’t be disappointed

Lovely Guest House in a great location. Our room was beautifully decorated with all the facilities for a comfortable stay. Exceptionally clean throughout and a really lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff were very polite and made us very welcome.
