Fantastic property! The breakfast each morning was delicious, staff was friendly, and the rooms were well decorated and spacious. A group of 8 of us stayed here during Oktoberfest. My group agreed we would stay there again. The front desk staff was friendly and they do speak English. Your room even comes with delicious beer from the Aying brewery. The hotel can arrange a tour at the brewery (a 5 minute walk) for you. They have an upscale restaurant at the location. It’s a 10 minute walk from the train (30 minute ride to Munich). The town is very safe & everyone we encountered was friendly. I highly recommend it! An important thing to note is that there is no air conditioning or overhead fans in the room.

This is the very best of Bavarian hospitality. I first came here 10 years ago for a wedding and always wanted to show the hotel to my wife. We spent two nights, including a wonderful 7-course dinner in their fine dining restaurant. The service is impeccable, the rooms spacious and beautifully decorated, and the surroundings stunning. Best of all: the beer!

I have visited this wonderful hotel 5 times and will keep coming back because it’s simply superb. It’s an absolutely classic Bavarian masterpiece. The setting is incredible. The hotel is plush and eat-off-the floor spotless as well as posh without a hint of ostentatiousness. This place is worth a stay here without going anywhere else!! This is a gem. I have stayed here many times over the years and love it. Beautiful property with a collection of buildings housing the main hotel, newer library and suites, beer garden and restaurants. Lovely pastoral setting in quiet Aying, about 30 minutes from Munich on the Autobahn or a train that ends in town. The best tasting beer, marvelous food and the friendliest staff ever. Short drive to hiking or visit to places like Teigernsee - you are close to all that beautiful Bavaria has to offer. I almost don’t want anyone to know. Try a late evening walk through the village to the woods - magical. The brewery has tours for those inclined but thats about it. Rest and rejuvenate. My favorite thing to do is to get a late night beer in the Library, sitting in an overstuffed armchair reading by a warm fireplace.

A very nice hotel with an interesting restaurant close to München. On our way to Madonna Di Campiglio we spend one night in Aying. A rather famous small village near München. Famous about the local brewery and beer. We booked an all in rate (hotel, breakfast and dinner). a perfect intermezzo on the way to Italy👌

Immer wieder richtig gut - Top Hotellerie (besonders aufmerksam: Im historischen Gemäuer mit den schönen Zimmern gibt es keine Klimaanlage aber auf Wunsch immerhin ein Klimagerät), top Küchenleistung (bunte Tomaten alter Sorten, Saibling als Vorspeise, dann der Klassiker Wienerschnitzel "fluffig" wie aus dem Bilderbuch und - für die Dame - die Goldforelle mit Orangenrisotto "hervorragend!"), top Service (alle hoch motiviert und schnell und ausgesprochen liebenswürdig) und am Ende das sichere Gefühl, das dieser schöne Ort mit seinem Gesamtpaket aus der Masse einfach heraussticht. Wenn dann noch der Himmel strahlend blau ist, dann verschmerzt man auch, dass das Restaurant nur ab Mittwoch geöffnet ist und man in unserem Fall leider weit fahren muss um hier absteigen zu können.

Wir (3 Erw.) waren heute hier zum Mittagessen. Das Lokal bietet gehobene Küche und ist jeden Pfennig wert. Sowohl von der Qualität der Speisen als auch vom Service. Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und fleissig, das Essen und die Getränke waren auf den Punkt am Tisch. Wir hatten selbstgebackenes Brot mit selbstgemachter Butter, Wild, Tellerfleisch und Wiener Schnitzel vom Kalb sowie vorab eine Festtagssuppe. Man hat allem rausgeschmeckt, dass hier erfahrene Köche Handarbeit geleistet haben. Das Lokal ist durchweg empfehlenswert

Wir hatten den Brauereigasthof als Standquartier gewählt, um die nähere Umgebung zu erkunden. Eine gute Entscheidung, denn das Hotel hat alles was man sich als Gast wünscht. Das sehr gepflegte, im bayerischen Stil eingerichtete Haus bietet nicht nur geschmackvolle Zimmer, sondern auch einen exzellenten Service und die viel beschworene bayerische Lebensqualität. Kostenloses Parken auf dem Gelände oder in den umliegenden Straßen. Einchecken war professionell, zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Unsere Suite befand sich im Nebengebäude (Herrenhaus), in dem wir auch einen gemütlich eingerichteten großen Aufenthaltsraum nutzen konnten. Wir waren von der geschmackvollen und hochwertigen Einrichtung unserer Suite begeistert. Alles war stimmig. Auch das große Bad mit Fenster überzeugte. Ausreichend Schrankraum vorhanden. Safe ist nicht Laptop geeignet. Obwohl an der Straße und neben der Kirche gelegen war es angenehm ruhig. Das Frühstück wird im Haupthaus wie in alten Zeiten serviert. Kein Büfett-Gerenne! Das Abendrestaurant bietet „Fine Dining“. In einem Nebengebäude befindet sich ein rustikales Restaurant mit Biergarten. Auch hier gibt es sehr gute bayerische Speisen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Fazit: Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
