Nelia Beach Hotel & Spa

The hotel’s All Inclusive option was very good value for money and the hotel was situated in a very convenient location of Ayia Napa which was of walking distance to a number of bars, beaches, restaurants, shops and the theme park. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back.

Nice hotel, rich breakfast buffet and the gym right next to the indoor swimming pool

We just returned home from Nelia beach hotel and I cannot fault it. We went with extended family who are older as well as my 3yo so a mix of ages. The rooms were lovely and clean, we had a seaview room which was beautiful and the ladies who cleaned the rooms each day were very friendly and did a great job. We were all inclusive and cannot fault the food. There were always a lot of options, lovely fresh meat and pasta, a kids food station and fantastic salads and desserts. The restaurant staff were very attentive and were very quick to take away used plates from the table. The snack bar by the pool was also fantastic they cook to order outside of mealtimes with options like toasties, chicken nuggets, burgers, pizza and salads. The swimming pool area was so beautiful, the sunbeds are so comfortable. There is a small kids area in the pool which is shallow. The rest of the pool is the same depth all around and has sunbeds in the pool as well as built in chairs with bubbles in one area. The sun beds around the pool do fill up quickly but there is a sundeck with more beds on the first floor overlooking the pool. The entertainment team were brilliant with adult and kids activities throughout the day. There is a small kids area where the lovely girls Ivana and Laura ran daily activities for kids including painting/drawings, ball games and a mini disco every night. My son loved the kids area as they were so attentive towards the kids. The evening adult entertainment was different every night sometimes karaoke and sometimes a performance. The beach was a short walk around the corner from the entrance to the hotel and you can reserve sunbeds at the beach in the hotel reception. You can also use your all inclusive wristbands to get drinks on the beach. It’s such a beautiful beach and so close it’s great. We will definitely return to this hotel, we all had such a lovely time!

The hotel was truly excellent. Very clean and offering beautiful beachfront rooms (Kaliva). Our apartment had its own jacuzzi and a poolside bar downstairs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was absolutely fantastic because it really engaged the guests. It was the first time I experienced this in a hotel, and we travel 2–3 times a year. The animation team was great, and the yoga and aqua gym classes with Laura were amazing. The music quiz and karaoke were a lot of fun as well. I highly recommend this place and will definitely visit Cyprus again!

Check in was fine and the rooms, hotel and whole place in general is really well cleaned on a daily basis. Food-all inclusive option, plenty of cocktail option ions and local beer and soft drinks. No waiting and service was very quick. Food each day was different and of good quality and plenty of choice. Really enjoyed the food actually. Pool- really nice pool area with a small kids/toddler splash pool. Amazing sun beds if you can get one as get very busy after 9am. Could easily get more beds to solve this issue. Breakfast-Dinner-Lunch time-smokers paradise! You can’t escape smokers in this hotel. The outdoor eating area is enclosed and lots of people are smoking. One evening my 3 year old got off her chair and a lady on the next table was sat side ways on with her cigarette hanging down, as my daughter got off the chair it hit her in the cheek! Under NO circumstances is it acceptable for people to be smoking in a enclosed area so a little 3 year old is subject to second hand smoke, it’s totally unacceptable and disgraceful the hotel allow smokers in this food area and should be ashamed. There are about 5 none smoking tables but as enclosed makes no difference. Each evening clothes stuck of smoke! Evening entertainment- not a great lay pal for entertainment but the team try hard. The stage is one end of the outdoor eating room and it’s long and narrow, so only those at the front can get a good view. The main issue is people eat, they don’t love from the table to allow others to eat, effectively reserving the tables near the front. Overall a nice hotel, staff and really good but I wouldn’t return for the issues mentioned above.

Great location. Thank you for a fabulous holiday. Hotel is great, food good and staff are super friendly. Special mention to Laura at the entertainment team, she was so friendly and motivated me to get up and join in the Water Aerobics every morning, she always came over for a chat, so full of life.
