This was a beautiful hotel. Perfect location, right next to the champagne museum and walkable distance to many champagne houses. Lots of lovely restaurants close by. Spotlessly clean and the traditional decoration was in keeping with the area and building. I generally prefer modern hotels but this was just beautiful and has converted me to try something different. One of the best hotels I'd say of our trip where we stayed in various hotels across Europe.

Everything about this hotel is sublime, from the welcome to our room. The quality of the furniture in this renovated house owned by a local family champagne house, is excellent. Whilst there is a bar and hot water for tea and coffee, the hotel does not have a restaurant. But there are a number in walking distance. One which stood out yet was a short drive away was Henry IV. Buts that for another review.

What a great little find in the small town of Ay. Perfect for visiting the champagne region. Hotel has lots of character and staff friendly and helpful. Pool was a bit in the chilly side, but refreshing after our drive from the tunnel. Breakfast really good, everything fresh and good choice. Kiki bar in room. No tea/coffee in room, but always available in the lounge. Secure car parking garage just across the street. Restaurants in Ay are very limited, but lots if choice in Épernay, just 10 minutes away. Would definitely visit again.

Castel Jeanson is a lovely, lovely hotel in a beautiful and relaxing location in the rather lovely village of Ay. The hotel is very pretty, is well maintained, and has lovely rooms. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout our stay, and they really couldn't have done anything more to make our stay more wonderful! Continental breakfast was lovely, drinks in the courtyard very relaxing. A wonderful stay in a a great location - a very short walk to a couple of restaurants (book ahead!), Cafe midi for coffee and Bar D'aytona for beers and wine and a warm welcome!

Un charmant hôtel avec un personnel très accueillant. Petit déjeuner très copieux et divers. Chambre cocon très confortable et très propre. et le plus à deux pas un garage fermé. Une belle réussite de décoration et une architecture respectant le style champagnois.

schönes Hotel in historischem Gebäude, direkt neben den ersten Champagnergütern und nur wenige Schritte vom Weinberg entfernt. Sehr französisch, aber alles sauber und sehr gut in Schuss. Kleiner beheizter Pool, gutes französisches Frühstück, Privatparkplatz. Abzug gibt es für den fehlenden Wasserkocher etc. auf dem Zimmer, das ist inzwischen auch in Frankreich Standard, sehr nettes Personal.

Au mois d’août nous avons passé un sublime séjour à l’Hôtel Castel Jeanson. L’accueil est chaleureux dans une ambiance familiale pleine de gentillesse et de professionnalisme. L’hôtel est très bien tenu et situé dans le calme du village champenois d’Ay. Une visite à la Maison Goutorbe vaut un détour, leur champagne est excellent !

Super hotel tres propre ...le patron a une cave dans la rue et est tres sympa..on a meme bu une bouteille avec lui petit dejeuner correct parking a 50 m dans un garage .vraiment bien situe Super endroit ..a refaire
