Just an overnight stay but such a friendly welcome! Despite the freezing temperatures outside, our room was warm and cosy. Wonderful breakfast cooked to order - will definitely return.

A very warm welcome from Leah the landlord. Comfortable well appointed room and a very good breakfast included in the price. Lovelly traditional village inn.

Lovely country pub with loads of character. Located in a small village, in an isolated, quiet location. Warm welcome from the Land Lady and Scrappy Do. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed two nights, room clean and comfortable with tea/coffe and TV. Free wifi, useful as there was no phone signal. Ate at the pub both nights, tasty, reasonably priced food. Recomend the Venison pie with a glass of red. Overall, an excellent stay, definately recommend. Will be staying again when back in the area.

Short Break at the Old Inn Devon We had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good and tasty. Room was clean and tidy. Lots of things to do in the vicinity. We walked out from the Old Inn to enjoy the local countryside and walking paths leading to part of Monarch's way. It was very easy to get to picturesque places like Branscombe, Sidmouth. Axminster and Honiton. Would come back to stay again. Still lots to see and do.

Looked after like we were family Amazing stay! Leah and all the staff made our family so welcome the moment we walked in the door. The kids were looked after showing them the skittle alley, darts board and tele, and introduced to all the dogs who they loved! We had plans nearby in the evening but could have happily stayed in the lovely pub all night!
