Old bones lodge was one of our favourite stays in NZ. It has a lovely warm atmosphere and the hosts take care of all your needs.
The kitchen was clean and practical and the shared space was homey.
The bathrooms are modern and the bedrooms are cute.
It is about a 10 minute drive from Omaru so it felt quite remote (in a good way).

由於遲了一小時到達，提前打電話給酒店前台，客服人員非常熱情接待，房間雖小但是非常乾淨整潔，大大的有特色的客廳，還有温暖的壁爐，酒店環境非常優美，很舒適很特別的一種感受，賓至如歸。

房間比較小 放不下大箱子 所以提前一天把當天需要換洗衣服用登機箱裝好 帶到卧室裏
廚房餐廳非常大 用具齊全 還有必要的調味品 贈送的牛奶沒有帶走 離超市大概6公里 開過去9分鐘
離看黃企鵝地方開車3分鐘吧 我們沒有去
路邊就是一個奶牛場 早晨可以看日出的一家小house 後悔沒定泡澡 要不然該多浪漫阿

A brilliant place to stay. Our photographic group hired the whole place for a long weekend and we were just amazed at the value for money. The bathrooms were close to the bedrooms and lights came on automatically at night making them easy to use. The wood-burner was put on for us the evening we were out and it was great to come back to a warm .

To say we had a great weekend in Oamaru would be an understatement. We literally had the most perfect weekend and one of the biggest parts of that was staying at Old Bones Lodge. Grant and Karen are hands down the best hosts I have come across. They made us feel so welcome, like nothing was a problem and are such genuine people. Their lodge was so clean and tidy and had absolutely everything you would need for a weekend away. To top it all off it has the most incredible views, lawn, gardens and seaside walks along a private and closed beach. It is such good value and I would recommend to all.
