It is a beautiful and romantic place with an awesome swimming pool.wake up with the birds singing is very magic.you can enjoy the beauty of the nature .Sigirya is near by and safari as well.Thank you very much

We stayed on 4 oakray on our time in Sri Lanka and there was always the same problem general care for the hotel, from toilet seats broken, beds not being replaced to electric switch wires showing nothing seams to get fixed. If it wasn't for the younger staff on particular our stay at the elephant lake would of been quite dole. Sadly wouldn't return as in need of a massive tidy up

Oak Ray Elephant Lake Resort is a 5-star + experience without the unnecessary airs and graces of a more expensive brand. It has everything you want: beautiful grounds; huge pool; a large, well-maintained Superior room; excellent chef; warm, friendly and personable service. Everything works well: comfy bed, plenty of hangars in the wardrobe, generous storage space, huge bathroom with both bath and shower. The air conditioning and fan kept us cool, wifi was stable, and our room was serviced every day. Its location makes it a great base from which to explore the many historical sights and wildlife parks nearby. And it’s excellent for relaxing after a hard day of sightseeing. Although it fronts onto the main road, there is no street noise, the ambience is very calm and the campus is quiet. We were well-looked after and made to feel perfectly at home. I would recommend Oak Ray Elephant Lake Resort

The facility and the staff were very helpful and good. Took care of the requests and met all the requirements. The pool was good and clean. Well maontain facility and also provided all the basic amenities. Well recommend it to others and certainly will come back

Gorgeous rooms, incredible pool, perfect location for Sigirya or Pidurangala. Topped only by the staff. Every one of them is always so helpful, kind and genuinely happy to see you. I've stayed here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. Shout out to Hashini for always being so welcoming 🙏.

Gd location and friendly staff. Nice resort feel. Big swimming pool, nice and cosy. Nice spread for breakfast. Value for money. Big shower area and bath tub. Good for big families and children to walk around. A definite recommendation for all

We had an amazing time during our stay, especially thanks to the beautifully arranged Avurudu Uthsawaya. The events were well-organized and full of traditional fun. We really enjoyed participating in the games and activities — everything was done with great care and attention to detail. One of the nicest surprises was receiving presents during the celebration. It made us feel special and truly part of the festivities. The staff were very friendly, always helpful, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The entire event and stay were very well managed. You could tell the team worked hard to make sure everything went smoothly. The atmosphere was cheerful and welcoming from start to finish. Thank you to all the staff and management for making our visit so enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely love to return. Highly recommended!
