The staff was really unfriendly and the hotel manager was an aggressive and dishonest fat sweating pig who put his gorilla to attack me. In hotel's spa 60 minute massage was 45 minutes and the massage lady just watched videos from internet half of the time. They tried to cheat and lie on everything, the place was really all about taking all the money from tourists. Food was bad and plates were dirty. This place doesn't deserve four stars, even two starswouldbe too much. Worst hotel that I've ever been!

We stayed here in September just after the schools went back I would say this is a ‘no frills’ hotel. Our experience was good. Staff were all really polite and spoke better English that we did Turkish! Food was varied, buffet style as usual with an all inclusive. Nothing extravagant but definitely not as bad as many of the reviews. The snack bar does chips and burgers which were really nice. The pool was clean and the slides fun. I can see that in the busy season there may be a shortage of sun beds but we did not have a problem at all. Evening entertainment was a little questionable…. Best described as ‘low budget’ but was something different than watching TV! yes, you have to pay for fresh orange juice but there are plenty of other options, smoothies, ice cream and popcorn also but these aren’t expensive. When the bar staff found out it was our last night, they set us out a table in the restaurant which was laid out all romantically and special. A really nice surprise and effort. Not quite the rude, offensive style that others are suggesting….. Reception is just a desk and the night guy is pretty much not interested but not rude at all. Wi-Fi…. This is free in the reception however it seemed that if more than 5 people were using it, it didnt work! You can pay €3 a day to get access around the hotel but you are better looking at an E-sim - I payed £7.50 for 10GB this way and was perfect. The private beach is over the road, possibly a 10 min walk but definitely not as bad as some reviews suggest. In summary if we had paid £3k for this holiday I may have been a little disappointed but we didnt…. We had a lovely week here! 100% good value, and cannot complain. I just think that maybe they couldn’t cope with the summer volume? I would not recommend using the reps, we booked things from Tripadvisor and they were excellent, the rep tried to discredit this method and tried to get us to cancel. We booked two things with them, both really poorly organised, late and dismissive of any kind of making things ok! - use this site, read the reviews and be subjective! Enjoy!!!

After reading other reviews about a week before we were due to go to this hotel I did wonder what the hell had we booked !! I can only say please don't believe everything you read We arrived at 3.30am and were shown straight to our room which was clean and fairly modern, yes the bed was hard but not uncomfortable Went to breakfast on the 1st day & was pleasantly surprised at the selection available, food cooking stations offered eggs & pancakes. The bread is delicious, 2 x coffee machines & fruit juice/water machine was always working Spent the 1st day by the pool where the animations team welcomed us & made the effort to include us in the activities. I believe this hotel would struggle in height of the season as there did not seem to be enough sunbeds available for the amount of guests -if you want a guaranteed sunbed put down your towels before breakfast We did not go to the restaurant at lunchtime but used the snack bar which did really nice burger & chips, unfortunately this is a couple of minutes walk away from the pool so the food was not always hot but still tasty. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away from the hotel straight under the underpass, they don't serve alcohol at the beach bar but it is nice not to drink occasionally, the beach was clean & sunbeds available. It was nice not to be hassled by beach sellers trying to sell us excursions. A simple no thank you was sufficient. The food available at the beach was burgers or rolls which again were really tasty. Went to dinner at the restaurant in the evening & again food was being cooked at the outdoor cook stations, yes you did have to queue but it only took a maximum of 10 minutes & the food being cooked was worth the wait, please remember that this is a buffet not al la carte restaurant so food is not always as hot as you would like it, but there to plenty. The town is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel & we would recommend going in the evening as everything was open, found a lovely café which did doner kebab for 4 Euros. The supermarket "Bams" which is a 2 minute minute walk from the hotel was a lifesaver & anything you need they sell & not at inflated prices and is open 24/7. We purchased a lot of soft drinks from there which we kept in the hotel room fridge. All in all you can't tarnish this hotel for the amount of Russian & German guests they get , the staff all try to speak English. It is not a 4* hotel but the amount we paid I wasn't expecting the Ritz

My boyfriend and I stayed in Arabella Hotel for 7 days and we enjoyed it so much! We were very apprehensive about coming after seeing the reviews get worse coming up to our holiday, however we were pleasantly surprised! We arrived early hours of the morning and staff were welcoming and attentive to us. They didn’t have any food available but they showed us a 24hr shop 2 min walk away with loads of options that were very cheap. All staff tried their hardest to communicate in English to us which was very nice. Our room was spacious and clean, room and bathroom was cleaned every day and towels were changed every 3 days. Air con in the room was great! The food in the hotel is good if you are not fussy and open to try new things. But if you are fussy they also had pasta, tomato sauce and bread every night. The snack bar had burgers and chips every day at lunch time which were yummy. These were also at the hotels beach which is a 10 min walk from the hotel. Pool was always clean and the slides are fun and fast! WiFi was €3 a day and worked in most parts of the hotel. Ice cream, milkshakes and smoothies are not included in the all inclusive but were amazing and very cheap. The entertainment team were great but could sometimes be abit too much and in your face. We had to say to them a few times no means no! They start playing music at 10am and it’s very loud. Do not book any excursions through the reps. The transfers were late and expensive. You’d be better off doing some research and booking online - we had a much better experience doing it this way. Overall we had a lovely stay at Arabella hotel!

We arrived around 2am no snacks available. Room ok, air con takes hours to cool the room. Towels & bedding not changed in the 5nights we stayed. No lifeguard even though the sign states there is one except for Sunday they must be invisible. Sun loungers are mostly taken before the pool opens some permanently reserved by guests that leave inflatables there. Bar staff ignore you an serve those they can converse with. Most staff speak minimal English. 4* all inclusive in my opinion Is not correct when there are so many extras to pay for & the hotel it’s self does not look 4*. Free WiFi in reception only you can pay €3 per day per device but it hit or miss weather it works. Snack bar limited just burger or chips all ice cream is extra fee as is orange juice at €2 per glass. The shops charge people different amounts for the same thing. They prefer € so think they make it up if you pay in lira. Check out at 12 which is ok, but then only allowed to wait in reception or the front garden from 12 till your transfer. The aircon is awful all around so when eating you are sweating reception is also very hot. The food is awful, rice & pasta contain meat, some food is labeled but simply rice yet in has ham in it… most is not labeled none has allergy info. Not much option for food especially for kids. All around it was a bad experience, it was the people we met that made the last few days easier. Even the rep slated the area & said Dalaman & Marmaris are much nicer he came across nice booked trips with him to find out he is charging a lot more than the tickets actually are. Don’t bother bringing lira they prefer € but most places will take lira € £ $ I was told money is money. After this experience I am hesitant to return to turkey.
