Have been coming here for years. Service is always poor however location and weather usually make it worth it. 5 star location, 1 star service. For example, sitting in bar at 4.50pm. Ask waiter for service - she points at bar. I go to bar at 5.01pm to be informed by same waiter/read that bar is now closed. Didn’t think for a minute that as we were still sat at bar that we may have liked service…….5 star……..nowhere near.

I’ve stayed here twice in Jan 2025 once with family once with friends Great location, easy access for a transfer straight into the basement car park It’s a bit of a stroll to any shops but for skiing it’s excellent, straight out your boot room your on the piste, although absolute beginners might find it more difficult with a green run to do The apartments are clean and tidy with plenty of space. Comfy beds, powerful showers. Enough facilities to cook TVs don’t have much English channels (but your not there for that) The crockery is really nice and plentiful but half way across the apartment not in the kitchen area The pool is warm - just but not hot Other than that all great. I would definitely recommend

Spent one week with the familly in this residence and it was top. Apartment itself, is very clean, very well furnished and equiped, kitchen utensils (nothing is missing), very spacious, beds are confortable. Also something which is important in Avoriaz, you can park your car directly in the residence, you do not need to walk. Residence : very nice staff, warm welcome, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna Location : Indeed it is not located in the center but Avoriaz is not very big so, the center is litteraly 7 minutes walk from the residence.

The residence and the flats are amazing. No renovation needed. It’s really 5 star residence. We just arrived and we were worried as we saw some bad review. It’s certainly one of the best in Avoriaz. Check in was good and the parking takes you right by the reception. The Spa is amazing with a pool and sauna and hammam. You can order Bakery delivered daily.

Lovely clean and well equipped apartment. We were 4 friends in a 2 bedroom valley view room. The apartment was perfect space wise for us and the views from the balcony (now open) were spectacular. The residence was well equipped and no problems with noise or access. The on site car park is a great feature if you're arriving by car and I believe the same price as the main resort car park. (€100 week) The pool area was clean and the sauna / steam rooms were good although only 1 of each was open but not too busy so all was good. Ski hire located across from reception was perfect and helpful. The ski rooms in the residence were a bit on the small side and got crowded at peak times but worked fine and definitely ski in Ski out for any level of skier. Check in was a little bit chaotic ( our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 17.15) but the staff were helpful and friendly and good Comms had us in our room by 18.00. As with a lot of these types of residences initial navigation was a bit tricky but after the first day you get used to the layout. A beautiful location 10 mins walk into the centre of Avoriaz. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

We have just returned from a 7-night stay at L’Amara Avoriaz. The hotel’s location is fabulous. Slightly setback from the centre of town and so is very peaceful and quiet, with amazing views. The 10-minute walk into the centre is fine and there are some lovely bars and restaurants on route. The ski hire is on the doorstep and the boot room is truly ski in/ski out. The apartment was very spacious (we had a 2-bed apartment for 4 people) - a very warm and cosy bolt hole coming in from a day of skiing. The lobby was really cosy with reasonably priced drinks for the area. Note that check in wasn’t until 5pm and was very busy, but we were not in a rush and the bar kept us well fuelled whilst we waited! We would definitely return!!
