Okay- perhaps too early in season
place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. We were offered a bigger better room at an extra 20e a night on check in which came over as ours was bit rubbish! -which it was !
It was a 15 min drive to Avola on a dodgy road. Little to see in Avola - sea front area was ok but little there due to time of year. Room was small with fridge that hummed
heavily so had to switch off. Bed was uncomfortable for two with cheap memory foam mattress that had clearly lost its memory due to the high number of folk who’d slept on it.
Pool area good. generally site looked jaded and tired. Wouldn’t hurt to have a few more signs to direct to location.
Buffet breakfast okay. Stayed 2 nights. Location good for Noto / Modica/ Ragusa. But be better staying in one of those places in my opinion. Most reviews not for April but later in year -

Durante il nostro soggiorno presso l'agriturismo Alle Riserve Cavagrande, abbiamo avuto l’impressione di entrare in un piccolo angolo di Sicilia ancora genuino e poco contaminato. La struttura è immersa tra agrumeti profumati, con una vista incantevole che spazia tra mare e colline, e si trova a pochissimi minuti in auto dalla Riserva Naturale di Cavagrande del Cassibile, che è semplicemente mozzafiato. Le camere sono semplici ma pulite e silenziose — perfette per chi cerca pace e un contatto più diretto con la natura. Il vero punto di forza, però, è l'accoglienza: Fabio, il proprietario, è stato disponibilissimo e molto accogliente. Si percepisce che tiene davvero a far sentire gli ospiti a casa. La colazione è stata uno dei momenti che abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato: marmellate fatte in casa, frutta fresca raccolta al momento e prodotti locali che raccontano il territorio meglio di tante parole. Le signore attente e molto cordiali pronte a soddisfare le nostre richieste. In definitiva, Alle Riserve Cavagrande è un luogo che consiglio a chi cerca autenticità, tranquillità e un legame vero con la Sicilia più profonda.

Een leuke lokatie voor een agriturismo. Vriendelijk personeel. Je voelt je heel welkom. Ontbijt goed met broodjes en taart/cake. We hadden kamer aan de voorzijde. Een grote kamer met mooie en moderne badkamer incl airco. Zwembad met rondom voldoende ligbedjes. Rondom agriturismo citroenbomen. Aanrader de zelfgemaakte limoncello (zacht van smaak) en jam. Jammer dat je er niet echt kunt dineren. Wel hebben er wel twee avonden, heel simpel, gegeten. 1 avond locale hapjes met daarbij o.a. stukjes pizza en 1 avond lasagne met salade.

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia, in due camere, per una settimana in questa splendida location; siamo stati ricevuti, al nostro arrivo da Fabio, il titolare, con attenzione per le nostre esigenze e suggerimenti per le nostre escursioni nella zona ed al mattino dalle signore addette al servizio della colazione con gentilezza, riservatezza e con un sorriso sempre presente ed accogliente. Soggiorno perfetto nella struttura circondata da splendidi alberi di limoni, con un giardino piantumato ed una piscina fantastica dalla quale osservar sorgere l'alba sul mare. Al mattino colazione ottima ed abbondante dolce/salato con prodotti e marmellate di agrumi bio, proprie della struttura. Consigliatissimo. Bravo Fabio !

Lo mejor la zona de piscina, el trato cercano del personal y el desayuno casero.

Wat een fantastische plek en wat een lief personeel! Het ontbijt was elke dag vers en anders en met uitzicht op zee. We verbleven in 2 kamers ( omdat ik daar graag 4 dagen verbleef en dat alleen kon als ik 2 verschillende kamers boekte) Superieur familyroom en de Deluxe room met uitzicht op zee. In alle kamers zit een koelkast wat erg handig is. Onze voorkeur ging uit naar de Deluxe kamer, ruim en goed bed en heerlijke badkamer. Een mooi groot zwembad met uitzicht op zee tussen de citrusbomen met heerlijke bedjes. Er zitten op 10 min rijden verschillende restaurants. Het is een prima uitvalsbasis voor de prachtige steden Noto (10 min) Syracuse (30 min) en Ragusa en Modica (1 uur). Je zit binnen 5 min op de snelweg. Echt een aanrader ik kom hier graag een keer terug!
