We came to hike in the Cairngrom National Park for 3 days and stayed in one of the Armadillos which has a built in bathroom and kitchen sink and refrigerator. We opted to have Gill’s lovely breakfast every morning before the hike. For $15/person it gave us the energy for the whole day. We also took her homemade muffins on the hike…..Ken was very friendly and helpful checking us in and provided much needed instructions on the Armadillo. We’ll definitely come back to stay if we are in the area again.

We had a fantastic stay in a great location, just 20 minutes from the town centre and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The owners were very friendly, the accommodation was great, and the breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this place for your stay. Thank you to Ken and Gill for your wonderful hospitality.
