Participate in the preferred hotel of the annual Southwestern South. From the second floor, you can go directly to the main venue in the south-southwest. The bar on the top floor is also very good! recommend! recommend! The only short board is so expensive, nearly $700 a night!

Let me first start off by saying, “this was the worst experience ever” I am a titanium elite Marriott member so I’ve seen my fair share of Marriotts. But paying $500 a night and the experience I got was less than a motel 6. Checking in was ok. Service was par but I can deal. I needed to access something on my phone. At the check-in counter, complete dead zone. They claimed they upgrade me to a “wonderful room” but on my reservation that was exactly what I booked. There was no upgrade. To ease myself into the trip, I went to the restaurant at the hotel. Not many people there, maybe 3 tables and then myself. I ordered a burger with lettuce and tomato only. I waited 40mins only to receive a burger with every condiment and simply no lettuce or tomato. Moving to the room. I slept ok. The snacks in the mini bar were a great variety. The internet was rather choppy. I wake up the next morning, I wake up to a crew on a crane looking directly into my room. Now, the hotel did email me to say the pool was not open during my visit, but failed to mention they were having work done. So I heard thumps due to work being done, loud music (and not the live music that is of a melodious sound). I called in the morning to say I will be checking out Day 1 of a 4 day trip but simply asked for a late check out - (seeing as though I had the room for 4 days) the agent told me the best she can do was 1PM. Hello, this room is technically unavailable because I would have still been here. It didn’t make any sense. I eventually left at once but this was an overpriced disappointment. I moved to another Marriott location 2 blocks over to finish my trip.

The hotel has amazing service. Loved the fact that they have live music in the restaurant/bar. It was great for my teenage daughter to enjoy it with us. Tanya at the restaurant was outstanding. She was so busy but was kind and efficient. The hotel location is great. You have all kinds of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Of course, we loved the late-night visit to the Cheesecake factory. The room was clean, well-decorated and huge compared to other hotels.

Our stay was simple and easy for Austin, Texas just down the street from the Great State of Texas Capital building or a short walk to the river. The hotel staff will greet you and have you wisked away to your room as fast as possible. Our room #2314 was a regular king room and the large size was good to have. The windows were floor to ceiling to have great views of the city day or night. Austin is home to the Texas music scene so many stay here for the access to all that is offered. The staff made sure our stay was enjoyable and I highly recommend requesting the charcuterie board with a great bottle 🍾 as it was sent up for us from the hotel. This hotel is designed for the business traveler in mind, great meeting spot and conference hotel. Book a breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Corner for a great meal. We utilize the valet service during our stay and the easy texting system works great. 👍 All in all a great stay next time your in Austin try the JW Marriott. #texastravel #visittexas #marriottbonvoy

We arrived after driving from Dallas and were checked in by Ranee. What a delight, this is how you do hospitality and welcome guests. We instantly relaxed. Great room and facilities, the lobby bar team are experienced and friendly without obviously tip shopping. We have enjoyed our first Westin and it won't be the last

Modern, upscale hotel with outstanding customer service. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. There are 2 King Workout rooms with a Peloton bike in each and the gym also has 2 Peloton bikes. Saltwater pool and jacuzzi were sparkling clean. I was there with colleagues for our Texas Library Association's leadership summit. Staff were very helpful with room layout and technology set-up. Restaurant had a nice breakfast buffet but you can custom order an omelet. The lunch and dinner menu is limited, but you are steps from The Domain, which offers plenty of places to eat and shop. Can't say enough good things about the staff here. They are friendly and super helpful. My group will definitely use this facility for future meetings.
