i had a terrible experience here and I do intend to place a review on Google. I parked in an UNMARKED spot, that also had an EV charger on it. I purposely picked the one spot without a sign. might add, none of the EV signs called out a tow away possibility anyway. about 11:30 PM, thank goodness, my car notified me it was being stolen and i rushed downstairs to find it gone. i called 911 and started a stolen report and the APD as they tried to help me, asked me about the hotel. I was literally standing at the front desk talking to the police, and the employees watched me, only to find out later they towed my vehicle. They literally watched me report a car stolen that they knew was towed by them. Then they said it was because i parked in an EV spot, marked for tow away, which it was not, and further she told me the GM approved it.
This could all have been avoided in many way. First, a sign, marked as tow away would help. Or, the entrance has "hotel guest only signs" with tow away warnings(that say nothing about EV spots). well, they do not verify car info as you check in, so how do you know who is staying and who is not? If you had, you could have called my room and asked me to move the car rather than cause me to go to an unsafe part of town at 12am in the morning to get my car and then show no empathy and cost me $250.
One more detail, i then saw they have tow trucks stationed outside of the garage!! Unbelievable! Picture attached
