Sonder at the Catherine

Our second stay at The Catherine and was really great to have the same room as before, the view of the city is amazing. Clean room and friendly front desk staff. The coffee station reception is a nice touch. Will definitely be returning within the near future

Spent 3 days on a business trip in Austin and was so happy to have selected a place at The Catherine. Close walk to downtown, and the amenities were wonderful. The unit was clean and allowed me to be comfortable during my downtime. Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this apartment rental via Sonder. I was a bit sceptical at first after seeing other reviews online that mentioned being towed for issues with parking, but we had no issues with anything in our stay. The Sonder app worked well, and we had all the information needed for checkin. The code worked for the door / lift / room without issue, and what a room! It had everything needed & then some - even including washing tablets for the washing machine. Our unit was on the 9th floor, overlooking the Pool & Aussies bar. We stayed a Thursday / Friday / Saturday night and had no issues with noise from the outside. Yes, there was some but it could only be heard with the balcony door open. The location of the Catherine building was brilliant - right next to South Congress Bridge so we could walk everywhere needed (about 40 minutes walk back after a College Football Game at the Longhorns). Staff and residents that I interacted with were all friendly. Finally, we had no issues with parking. I followed the information provided by Sonder (ensuring the parking pass was hanging from the rearview mirror) and had no trouble whatsoever.

The Catherine (Sonder) is walking distances to most attractions. Great location and the amenities (the pool , the sauna and the gym) offered made our stay more enjoyable. The apartment has a great lay out. Welcoming and friendly staff. For some of us the pillows were the highlight of our stay.

The apartment was beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced. I’m like goldilocks when it comes to bedding. It has to be perfect. The apartment was in a good location, close to everything and close to my family.

Lovely stay. Apartment was exactly as photographed and had everything we needed. The studio at the Catherine location was absolutely perfect for seeing everything in Austin. Checking in and out was a breeze. We'd definitely stay at another Sonder location!

Do not stay here. They will tow your car no matter what. Even if you follow the rules, as I did, and park in a non-reserved spot and put the parking card on your dash, the tow company will still come and tow your car while you are sleeping. It costs more to retrieve your car than the cost of the stay. When you report it to Sonders they will not assist or do anything. The same is true of the building management. They simply do not care.

Excellent space, very clean and beautiful. It was easy to get in and out of. The location is also super convenient to downtown and other areas. The customer service was punctual and kind. They were pretty awesome.

Had the best time at this accomodation in Austin just across the bridge from downtown. The studio was huge with full kitchen, sitting area, balcony and large bathroom. The whole building is stunning and so well looked after. I would love to live there. Compared to hotels in downtown it is amazing value for money, i am surprised it was so cheap. Location was the best of both worlds as in between downtown and south congress. Highly recommend
