The room is smaller than other Four Seasons that I've been to, which was a bit of a surprise to me. The water is my bigger complaint. After overnight of non-use, the water chokes both at the toilet tank and vanity sink. For hotel that has so many guests, that was a surprise. Then, the shower head was is old and the water pressure is lower than expected. That was a surprised for this caliber of hotel.

This review is long overdue. I stayed at Four Seasons last year when I was in Austin for a friend’s wedding. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were wonderful. I highly recommend a room with a balcony. The in-room breakfast was delicious and on par with other FS properties. Looking forward to returning!

Another incredible experience with the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, TX. Their staff is top notch! Henry S Hotel Manager goes above and beyond to ensure our stay is not only comfortable but pleasurable, thank you Henry you are a gem! The gentleman who greets us at the lobby, I missed his name (I will remember on our next stay, I am sorry), he is always outfront to greet you and his peppy attitude and desire to make your stay exeptional is such a delight each time he greets us at the car. What an asset he is to the Four Seasons. He makes my morning every time I interact with him! He is levels above in Customer Excellence! Absolutely enjoy our stay every time we book a stay and December is definitely the month to experience this extravagant and top notch hotel. Our rooms were impeccable and the service is top of the line regardless of who you are interacting with here. Thank you Four Seasons!

The hotel is fine, but I found a charge for about US$1100.00 I did not recognize. I emailed their reservation office twice. No response. After a month, I called and sorted out the charge was not mine and they say they would refund. They did not apologize for not replying to my billing queries. Nor did they even include a gift certificate for a complimentary glass of wine or similar. Nothing. I work in tourism and know we would have replied as soon as we received the email and refunded asap. The Four Seasons failed. I just went on another trip and did not book any Four Season options and was pleased with that I did book. All I wanted for for this organization that charges so much for their rooms, to reply to a client query about an incorrect charge.

We have stayed at the Four Seasons in Austin a few times previously. We visited this time to have Xmas day lunch. Food was good, although some of the options were a bit tasteless. Limited drink options (and no longer included within the price). The biggest drawback was the service. For a 5 star hotel, I always considered the FS to have exceptional service but this was certainly not the case on Xmas day. Appreciate the restaurant was busy but having to ask numerous times for drinks and coffee (and cutlery at one point) I would say is not a great look.

On arrival the room smelled like a sewage spill or moldy. The special guest amenity was a couple of cheap sugar cookies. Generic unrecognizable coffee pods with no explanation of what they were. No refrigerator in the room. There is no bar soap in the room. Minimal amenities in bathrooms (no mouthwash or other luxury goods). No car service except on the weekends. The toilet ran unless you jiggled the handle. All this for $1800+ per night. "Would you like an upgrade? OK, that will be $1500-3500 more a night?" Really? I really regret my stay. Talked to management and they were interested in their problems, but offered nothing to compensate for the bad experience.

horrible drinks !! Irish coffee and Chocolate martini....what a horrible joke for 50 bucks. Sooooooo disappointing !! Down here at The Dead Rabbit where the drinks are devine. Our experience in the psst was bettrr so something sppears to have hsppened to the level of servicr.

I stay there the weekend for a medical conference. Even though we had special rights it was about $500 a night and $82 a night for taxes so about $1200 for two nights FYI The hotel was decorated lovely with flowers everywhere but honestly, it was so boring. The restaurant was downstairs and nobody wanted to go there. The bar where the music is doesn’t even open till 1 PM for a cocktail. The pool was a complete joke. There was a hotel being built next-door and it was so loud. And not even a real pool. If I came back for the conference, I would stay across the street of the JW Marriott where they had an awesome rooftop bar and fantastic pool for much less money The four seasons are just so old-school nowadays
