La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Parmer/Tech Ridge

I recently stayed at La Quinta, and overall, the property itself was wonderful. Everything was spotless and looked to be brand new—from the lobby to the rooms, it was clear that cleanliness and upkeep were a top priority. I also really enjoyed the breakfast; it was fresh, well-stocked, and had a nice variety of options. However, I have to be honest about the customer service experience. While the hotel itself exceeded my expectations, the front desk personnel fell short. I’m not sure if it was just an off weekend, but the staff came across as extremely rude and unapproachable during my stay. It definitely put a damper on what would’ve otherwise been a perfect visit. If the customer service had matched the quality of the property, this would’ve easily been a five-star experience.

I chose bc it's a new property but I would not stay here again. There is a Towneplace suites next door that I have previously stayed & I will stay there instead. Room 423 - AC sounded like an old engine; shook, was loud, and didn't cool very well. Reported it on check out. 4th Floor - AC out on floor. Reported it daily & was told it was working. Can't imagine what 100 degree days feel like on the 4th floor if it was working. Checkin - Platinum Rewards member didn't care bc I booked thru *******. Okey dokey. Checkin - waited more than 5 minutes for a guy to come out of the office. Lobby was empty, no sign at the desk, and the guy comes out with a sweatshirt, no name tag, looked like he just woke up. He didn't make eye contact, just asked 'can I help you'. Breakfast - the coffee was good. I think I've finally learned that a LaQuinta, no matter how new, in a city is not worth staying at. BUT, on road trips, in the middle of nowhere-ish-USA, they are great.

Just needed to say for one night but staff was super friendly everything was nice and clean. Felt safe & only a $25 fee for my pup. That’s all you can ask for really!

This property charges extra money if you want to access to the room one hour before. The receptionist said is a rule from this hotel. They don’t offer coffee or water in the common areas. Breakfast closes at 9:00 am . The hotel is clear, in good condition, the area looks safe.

Overall nice stay poor breakfast option Nice clean up to date hotel and rooms, i love the bathroom mirror super elegant bathroom- room has fridge and microwave. I had the suite and it was worth it. I would probably stay there again I just really dislike the breakfast bar the morning i was there. Idk if it’s the same every morning but my morning it was poor options and no effort- i dont eat pork and they only had pork sausage and pork bacon and tons of bread options bagels, toast, rolls muffins like more starch than protein… oh & juice.. overall nice stay if you don’t care about breakfast
