A very complete holiday in Kitzbuhel was enhanced by the wonderful stay in the Hechenmoos. It provides everything you need for a nice stay; a warm welcome by the owners (when Mr Pfister is not in the kitchen cooking), a well run family owned hotel and staff who combine a personal touch with professional service. The food was magnificent, especially the typical Austrian and neighbouring countries' food. Service was friendly and we got to know the hospitable team quickly. Location is fine whether you have a car, take the bus or cycle. Nice big bedrooms, the setting is pure Sound of Music. We re booked and look forward to our forthcoming stay there again soon. We stayed here for 7 nights; a wonderful experience. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was beautiful (mixing modern with traditional Austrian style) and the food was excellent. The hotel is well located for ski buses to get you to the base stations (there is a car park for those who prefer to drive). We both agree that we would like to return to this hotel 😀

This experience was like coming home! The young owner couple welcomes you with charming hospitality and you feel them being a real host. Helping you to plan you stay and suggesting ideas for outdoor activities. As this Hotel is dedicated to cycling in the Spring/Summer/ Autum-Time you enjoy Rented bikes, free charging of bikes, other devices and not to forget an excellent bio breakfast with homemade bred and smoothies. Coffee is as good as it can be in Austria. Wintertime at the Lifesport Hotel is dedicated to the skier of all types. The ski bus just in front of the entrance and a sufficient parking lot serves all needs. The newly refurbished rooms create a cosy atmosphere in a traditional tyrolian style. Very nice hotel. Modern hotel with a traditional touch. The owner is very pleasant and listens to her customers. The rooms are spacious. Lots of outdoor facilities for children. Sauna, panoramic roof terrace. Free parking. Very good times spent in this establishment

After making arrangements over the phone, we were able to arrive on a rest day; everything was prepared, no problem. There are rooms in different categories. Our room, without a balcony, was furnished in an Alpine style, simple but cozy. The room seemed newly renovated. The bathroom also seemed newly renovated; everything you expected was there. The cuisine was good and creative, the breakfast was of the general standard. The staff was friendly and helpful in every situation. The house is located on a thoroughfare about 6 kilometers from Kitzbühel in the direction of Pass Thurn. Our room was on the side facing away from the street and so we didn't notice any noise. The WiFi was free, but the quality varied, so we had to deduct it from the rating. We had a pleasant stay with a reasonable price-performance ratio. We don't understand why the hotel should only correspond to the hotel category of only two stars, we would have thought the category with three stars was appropriate.

Lage top (Skibus hält direkt vor dem Haus), Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend, Essen exzellent (Fünf-Sterne-Qualität), Atmosphäre sehr angenehm. Die Kommentare bezüglich des Geräuschpegels finde ich persönlich übertrieben, es war ruhig und das Hotel Hechenmoos ist eine tolle Empfehlung für Skiurlauber, Familien etc., die nach einem gemütlichen Hotel zum Wohlfühlen suchen
