Wow wow , amazing best room we have stayed in all of our trip. Room was spotless, clean, tidy ,spacious, and very quiet . Bed was very comfortable only thing would have like another pillow . My husband ate in the restaurant and his food was outstanding, we would highly recommend this place to stay

Wheelchair access. Disability access. Wonderful place to stay. Eric was very welcoming. Breakfast was good and the dining room was spacious and welcoming. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel two nights of three and Eric kindly booked a restaurant for us in Audierne on the Sunday night. The accessible room was large as was the bathroom. Bathroom worked well for us - I am paraplegic and use a wheelchair. Parking was adjacent to the building. Was a good base for exploring including Point du Raz.

Since our last visit 2 or 3 years improvements have been carried out to the bedrooms and public areas with good effect. What has not changed is the friendly welcome on arrival and Marie Noelle's skill as an excellent chef producing a wide varity of meals using the freshest of ingredients. ` The food is cooked to order so the pace of the evening meal is certainly not "fast food" but leisurely (in the traditional French fashion). Cleanliness was first class. We could not recall if this was our 4th or 5th return visit but were very happy to be there once again.

Recently spent 3 nights here and we were delighted that we found it. Marie Noelle and Eric are excellent and caring hosts, with Marie Noelle preparing first class dinners using local ingredients mainly fish which suited us and Eric taking care of the front of house. Both of them always had the time to talk to you about the locale and the history of the hotel.

We are three girls from Ukraine and a small dog. We spent five unforgettable days in this wonderful hotel. The owners, Eric and Marie-Noelle and their lovely dog Sirius, did everything possible to make our stay comfortable, provided us with all the necessary information about the area and sights, and most importantly, gave us the warmth of their home and hearts. The hotel is very cozy, quiet, with a summer garden and a view of the old church. All attractions, beaches, historical towns are located very close to the hotel. Special thanks to Marie-Noelle and Eric for the delicious food with local products prepared by Marie-Noelle, for interesting and informative conversations, we learned a lot about Brittany, its people, history, cuisine. I will definitely return to this hotel, where you feel at home.

Le restaurant de l’hôtel du Cabestan ne fait pas de pub et n’en souhaite pas particulièrement. L’auberge n’est pas ouverte très souvent, et uniquement quand l’hôtel l’est, et donc en gros uniquement durant une partie de l’année et encore, pas les weekends. À l’accueil, un patron à l’accent Anglais bien marqué vous invite cordialement à prendre place, et c’est ensuite une jeune Bretonne qui, très allègrement et sympathiquement, prend le relais. Une cordialité teinte de simplicité qui fait mouche. Au niveau de la bouche, passez votre chemin si vous n’aimez pas les produits de la mer. À l’inverse, une carte met en valeur deux ou trois entrées et deux ou trois plats travaillés avec simplicité mais aussi délicatesse, avec un souci de respecter le produit. Notamment, lotte et merlu font la belle part.Une petite sauce safran crème venait agrémenter le médaillon de lotte. Quant aux entrées, à nouveau, huitres très fraiches et très iodées, pour mon gamin et moi, et une assiette de poissons fumés du fumoir local pour mon épouse. Papilles enchantées dans les trois cas. Bref, à nouveau, soirée réussie tant pour l’aspect gustatif que pour le service avec la petite touche comique, ou plutôt joviale, de la serveuse Bretonne (Emma).

Cette auberge est très bien. Au calme les chambres sont superbes et l'ambiance y est cozy. Les petits déjeuners proposés sont très bien. Le personnel est à l'écoute et au petit soin pour sa clientèle. Je recommande Elle est située proche de la pointe du van et de Audierne à quelques kilomètres aussi de Pont croix... ou Locronan....

Notre séjour à l'Auberge du Cabestan était à nouveau fantastique. C'est la deuxième fois cette année que nous avons séjourné ici, et nous prévoyons d'y retourner de nombreuses fois encore. L'hôtel est un véritable havre de paix, les hôtes vous font vous sentir très bien accueillis et sont toujours prêts à répondre à vos questions. Notre chambre était spacieuse, très propre et modernisée. Il y a un parking pratique, et l'hôtel est situé à un endroit central, proche du centre-ville, des restaurants et d'une délicieuse boulangerie. Pour nous, l'hôtel était une base parfaite pour des vacances de surf, car il y a de nombreux spots de surf à proximité. Derrière l'hôtel, il y a un magnifique jardin où vous pouvez vous détendre. Nous avons également profité à plusieurs reprises d'un petit-déjeuner délicieux et copieux avec différents produits locaux. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour caractéristique avec beaucoup de confort dans un endroit convivial et à taille humaine. Nous attribuons la note maximale à l'Auberge du Cabestan!

Le propriétaire de l’hôtel est fort sympathique, le personnel accueillant mais l’hôtel est dans son jus , la décoration désuète , ça ne mérite pas deux étoiles et le prix qui va avec Hôtel au calme dans un environnement bretonnant
