Our two days and two nights at Stonehurst Place could not have been more perfect. Judy and Nelson were kind, friendly and gracious hosts who go out of their way to make sure we had everything (and more) that we needed or wanted. Our breakfasts were beautifully presented and delicious! French press coffee in the morning was wonderful and there were home baked snacks and a well-stocked Keurig available at all hours. We stayed in the Hinman Suite which is beautifully furnished, comfortable and has the most luxurious spa-like bathroom I’ve ever seen! Thank you, Judy and Nelson for a lovely stay.

Stonehurst is everything you want to experience at a bed & breakfast- Welcoming host, beautiful home, delicious breakfast. Our stay was exceptional. The host, Judy, greeted us before our stay through text, then at the door, gave us a tour of the house, asked if we needed any information regarding the area and the next morning served us breakfast on the back terrace. Our room had fresh baked brownies and chocolates for an evening snack! Hot and cold drinks were readily available. At breakfast the chef shared how to prepare the courses served. All were outstanding. Stonehurst's location is walking distance to excellent restaurants and a great park. You can also walk through the park to the Botanical Gardens. We will definitely stay there again.

A gracious welcome from our host Judy made us feel right at home. The little extras were too numerous to list, from bottled water and a full ice bucket to freshly baked brownies under a glass dome in our room to a well stocked refrigerator, a bowl of fresh fruit and homemade cookies in the dining room. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of French pressed coffee, creative parfaits and eggs/quiches out on the private back porch. Would not change a thing and we shall definitely be back.

This was a unique and beautiful home in downtown Atlanta. Very well appointed and maintained. We stayed in the Hinman room. Bed and pillows were comfortable, black out blinds, large walk-in shower, all superior. The brownies in the room were scrumptious. We ordered the charcuterie board and a bottle of wine and sat out on the screened - in back porch. Breakfast was incredible. We cannot say enough good things about this bed and breakfast.

My wife and I were looking for a place to go for our 50th wedding anniversary. We decided to take a weekend trip to see the sights in Atlanta around the midtown area. We thought we would just stay at any nice hotel. In looking for a place to stay we came across Stonehurst Place Bed & Breakfast in the area we planned to visit. Not knowing anything about it, we found its' website intriguing, and wondered how such a place could exist in midtown Atlanta. We decided to stay there. This turned out to be the BEST decision we have ever made for a hotel. Judy & Nelson Mills have the best place to overnight it in Atlanta. Everything about Stonehurst Place was top notch. The old house was remodeled so beautifully, anything you would need is right there, and a smile and wonderful conversation came along with it. Breakfast was out of this world and the comfort was so fantastic, we could not have even imagined it. If there were more than 5 stars, Stonehurst Place would get the highest possible rating.

Only stay here if you can spend the relaxing time to enjoy what the inn has to offer. It’s a quiet oasis away from the busyness and noise of midtown. There are lots of nooks in which to enjoy a good book or quiet conversation. The breakfast on the back porch was elegant. Most of all, Judy was friendly and most helpful. Our room was comfortable and the whole place was impeccably decorated. If you just need a bed, stay at a hotel. If you want an experience, stay at the Stonehurst Inn.

We had a couple of nights stay after a long transatlantic flight and coinciding with Memorial weekend. We loved Atlanta but loved this place more! Our room was lovely, breakfasts excellent but Judy as ‘ owner and front of house ‘ was so welcoming. if we ever come back to Atlanta we will come back for sure.

Stonehurst place is an architectural gem in a wonderful part of Atlanta. Judy and Nelson create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious and Cynthia accommodated our gluten free request without sacrificing taste. We enjoyed walking around the area and Piedmont park. We would definitely return for another stay!
