This is such a nice place. It is clean, quiet and the beds are comfortable! The rooms are quiet, no highway noise. Also, you dont hear anything from the neighboring rooms. We stay here a couple of times a year visiting family. Love it! We will continue to stay here. The staff are kind and helpful.

We booked the whirlpool king suite online. Spacious, quiet, near ice machine but not so close you could hear it. Nice robes in room. Breakfast had quite a few self serve options. Coffee maker in room wasn’t fancy but worked fine. Real coffee mugs, not just paper. Plenty of hot water.

Super clean and spacious rooms and an unbelievably friendly staff! Have stayed here many times over the years and never been disappointed! Atkinson is wedged betwixt the Niobrara National Scenic River and the vast and beautiful Sandhills. Make it a destination!

Very clean. Cleanest room I’ve stayed ant in a very long time. Everything smelled nice and looked great. Small breakfast in the morning. Overall a very good value. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling thru the Atkinson area.

We were traveling down route 20 and this guesthouse had gotten good reviews on tripadvisor. The rooms were clean, woman at check-in was very friendly, and we enjoyed our stay. Only downside was that the breakfast is very basic (maybe toast or a bagel or a doughnut).

We have stayed here a couple times before. Each time we are so pleasantly surprised by the spotless rooms and size. It is so quiet and peaceful and close parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful with whatever our needs. Sunday evening does not offer many eating options in town, but we ordered from the Bowling Alley, and were happy. If you want peace and quiet and CLEAN facilities, we highly recommend the Sandhills Guest House Motel. The only suggestion I would have, is offering some fresh fruit and maybe boiled eggs for your Continental breakfast. They have great coffee. We try to plan this stop when we travel west to check cows.

Make sure if you are a smoker, your luggage and clothing don't smell like smoke or you will be charged a fine for $250.00 and nothing you can say to change their minds. We both smoke and never smoked in the room but I was told that there was a strong smoke smell and they have run an air purifier for 2 days and the water is gray indication of smoking in the room. Next time I will find another hotel to stay in. Never will I stay there again
