Nice clean rooms Friendly staff & very easy to deal with Has off street parking that you can access with for trailers & boats with no height restrictions Close to town The Baron river boat ramp on Lake Tinaroo is only 10 min away Definitely will stay there again

45 years travelling Oz and stayed in hundreds of motels. I can honestly say this was the best Motel I have stayed in. Friendly and helpful staff and excellent facilities. I would recommend a stay here to anyone. I will be back with family in tow next time.

This is our second visit to this motel, first time in the new apartment section. The apartments are very large with great views over the tablelands. Spotlessly clean with all the mod cons including kitchenette, fridge/freezer, coffee pod maker, huge and comfortable bed. The bathroom is modern with plentiful hot water and large shower area (although alas, like many hotels these days, the water escapes all over the bathroom). The owners are very friendly and gave takeaway suggestions (as it was a Monday night and most places were closed). If you stay on a night the Pagoda Chinese Restaurant in the car park is open, I recommend the restaurant too. These apartments and rooms fill up very fast with workers and coach groups so make sure you book well ahead. The part ends are short drive out, on the edge of town but we wouldn’t stay anywhere else and will return.

We stayed in one of the apartments. It was immaculately clean, set well back from the road so very quite. Firm but comfy bed. Good undercover parking at the door. Very well equipped . An as new washer/dryer. Hot plates, fridge and freezer. Lovely bathroom. The lady who cleans the room was very nice and had an eye for detail ensuring the apartment was always clean and welcoming. We did find it took a very long time for hot water to reach the shower possibly because we had a room quite a way away from the gas tanks, but it does finally arrive and is nice and hot. There is also a balcony that catches the breeze. It would have been nice if a small webber type BBQ had been on the balcony. steak does not taste the same cooked in a fry pan as it does on a BBQ, also we were very away of the odor cooking steak in the apartment causes. A lovely place to stay.

Pleasantly surprised at the size and fit out of the self contained rooms. Reception was welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking. Is located next to a Chinese restaurant which is super convenient. One small housekeeping detail - fans and air con vents need some attention. But overall a great place to stay

We travel up to the Tablelands often this time it was myself and two young children (4 & 6) We have never stayed at the Atherton Motel generally stay at Air B & Bs. We will definitely be staying again! The location is only 10 minutes or so to Yungaburra, a picturesque town with plenty to see and do. We only stayed the one night as it was a last minute getaway. Some adventures we had were the Crystal Caves, went looking for platypus, The Historic Village in Herbaton (allow at least a good half day for this ) . The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are very clean. It felt very safe with my children and there is plenty of space for them to explore their lovely gardens. The price is very affordable. There is an amazing looking Chinese Restaurant next to the Atherton Motel, next time we will visit it looked very popular. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality.

Room and bathroom were very clean. Plenty of powerpoints, often overlooked by hotels. Good TV with Foxtel and good channels included. Kitchenette. Good range of Beers available at reception, saving the drive into town. Chinese restaurant part of the property. Not a bad stay.

Really nice hotel , immaculately clean . Modern equipment and perfect location . Hotel staff are lovely and very welcoming. Will be back and highly recommend this hotel . Chinese next door was ok , go to soul food kitchen in Atherton for a meal .. AMAZING

A good stay. The rooms have been newly renovated so they were bright and fresh and clean. Being rather spacious rooms was a bonus. Copious amounts of hot water and a fabulously comfy bed were very welcome. Parking is also very close to the rooms behind the hotel. The restaurant served a really good dinner. We would have given 5 stars except the downside of the stay was the noise from patrons drinking in the outside area (right near our room until midnight).
