Electra Palace Athens

The location of the hotel is very good. There are many cafes and restaurants right next to the Athens commercial street and it is very convenient. The supermarket is also very close. The hotel room is clean and the service is good. Especially the breakfast is extremely rich and delicious. The breakfast location overlooks the Acropolis and the scenery is unparalleled. I have stayed in this hotel several times and am very satisfied

The hotel was very clean and the staff were kind. Overall, I think it was a very good deal considering the price we paid. You are just the shortest of walks from the Acropolis Museum and Acropoli metro station. There restaurants steps away, and you can quickly get to the main areas of the Plaka neighborhood within minutes. If you are only in Athens a day or two, truly this location maximizes your visit. Everything was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. They have Netflix and Prime on the TV, but we didn’t use it. They use a code system to get into the building and the rooms which I thought was really convenient. I will say that the shower did not drain well, and there was a drain in the bathroom floor that smelled pretty moldy. Also, there is a “welcome” letter which is really a series of warnings about what you shouldn’t do. I posted a picture as it was a little off-putting. I kept feeling paranoid that I might accidentally get something on a towel and get charged 50EU for it (and I assure you those towels were not 50EU). We were a little worried about the noise as we could hear quite a bit during the day, but at night the street is deserted so we slept soundly. The front desk manager was very helpful, and when our booked car did not show up to take us to the airport, she walked down the street with us to make sure we got a cab. I thought that was definitely going above and beyond. Again, it is a great place particularly for the price.

Nice hotel, newly opened, had dinner at the hotel, very delicious, the restaurant manager may feel that it is strange to eat only the main course, also sent a little appetizer, and gave the child a macaron

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Syntagma Square. The service is also very good and friendly, and the room equipment is fully equipped. There is a famous restaurant downstairs of the hotel, and the included breakfast is delicious. There is a bar on the top floor of the hotel, where you can drink while watching the night view of the Acropolis. Highly recommend this hotel!

I booked this hotel because it was very close to the Acropolis. When I arrived, I found that it was indeed very close, and it only took five minutes to walk there. There is nothing much to say about the hotel itself. The service attitude was very good, the room was very clean, and slippers and toiletries were provided. The bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, and the countertops were all marble. The room was a bit small, but there was a balcony with a view of the Acropolis. There is a place to eat downstairs. If you walk towards the Acropolis, there is also a tourist street over there with more people and more lively. The sound insulation of the balcony windows and doors was okay. But what was unpleasant was that there were many people outside drinking, watching the game and singing that day, and they didn't leave until one o'clock in the middle of the night. I don't know if this is normal.

How should I put it? Before traveling, I saw a personal recommendation on Xiaohongshu and said that the breakfast here is delicious. But I saw some negative comments below, such as the surrounding environment is very bad and there are many bad people. But I couldn't stand the fact that the price/performance ratio was really good, and I also liked the room type, so I decided to give it a try and booked it for two nights. There is an access control as soon as you enter the hotel. You have to ring the doorbell to open the door. The staff at the front desk are very enthusiastic. I arrived at about 11 o'clock in the morning and there was actually a room that I could enter. This is usually only possible at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Very rare for Athens. After entering the room, the window can be opened, the bathroom is divided very scientifically, the bedding is clean, and earplugs are thoughtfully provided (although I didn't use them). I went back to the hotel at around five o'clock both nights to watch TV and rest. When you leave the hotel, it is recommended to turn left immediately and walk out of this short alley, which is about ten meters away. It is actually very safe after that. Do not wear sandals when walking in this area, it is safer. For breakfast, the area is not large, but the restaurant is very cozy, and the room price includes three breakfasts. On average, the price is really cost-effective. Moreover, it only takes a few minutes to walk to the Place de la Concorde and about ten minutes to reach the Constitution Square. It is very close to the attractions. So the location is good. The staff is also very friendly to the children. When they were waiting for me downstairs, they took the initiative to give them pens and paper to draw, which was very caring. I had to print out urgent documents for personal reasons, and the front desk helped me do it for free. Thank you very much! In short, if you are a young person, staying in this hotel is very cost-effective. I live here with my two children. I deliberately try to be safe and try to stay on the main roads and avoid alleys. It is actually safe. The boss also gave me a discount when buying souvenirs, and asked the children to write postcard messages before leaving, leaving a pleasant memory.
