We didn't initially intend to write anything but after 3 bad nights, on the last day, the glass overflowed. Starting with the good, let's say that the room and the bathroom were recently renovated and clean. The 2 girls at the reception, smiling and kind. Every day the cleaning service came in and changed the towels. And then the fun started. Let's first say that we paid 136 euros per night in a hotel that is considered -badly- 4 stars. At the reception, a smiling girl informed us that our request for a double bed had been accepted and proudly announced that it was also...superior. He also pointed out that the "coffee and water in the fridge" were a gift! Impressed by the awesome offers of the 4-star hotel, we entered the room to see some simple nescafe sachets and 2 small waters in the fridge. The "superior double bed" was simply 2 single beds pushed together. Opening the curtain we were depressed by the view but the elaborately broken glass of the balcony door gave us shivers of emotion. The WiFi? So bad we were using ours. The sliding bathroom doors did not close together. So did the door to the room that left a gaping gap. All the doors had a spring return mechanism as a result of which they closed with force and a lot of noise. The soundproofing was non-existent so you could hear all the footsteps in the corridor, the unlocking of each door and then the click when it closed. And the drains? One can hear everything from the neighbors or from above when their "content" falls into the night. And breakfast, when in other hotels it is served until 11:00, here it was until 09:00. But when you have not been allowed to sleep at night, you hardly get up to eat something that we were very afraid would be equally disappointing. What no one knows, and is badly informed afterwards, is that right next to the hotel entrance, is an underground-hole-pit from where at 04:30 a non-stop, monotonous noise of electronic-techno music started that shook its foundations 4th floor, including us and it stopped at...10:00 in the morning. If you were lucky and found somewhere nearby to park, you'd find a Techno-Emo breed leaning on it while little girls with red eyes, (not from crying) were running around. If you weren't, you'd been driving around the night before trying to find a place to park. And no. The hotel doesn't have a parking lot either (it only has 2 spaces), but you won't find a private one nearby either. And the center? Away. And the neighborhood? Scary. You don't feel safe. And arriving at the last breakfast and while we had been suffering all night from the blaring music, at 07:30 the cursing, the threats, the women's screams and the fights started right below. Further down, a suffering father was putting his daughter in the back seat of the car
