When we arrived at the hotel yesterday the hotel informed us they were fully booked and moved us to The Breeze Hotel as an upgrade….. We were kept awake til 3am last night by very noisy students partying - shouting; chanting; slamming doors etc. We had a loud wake up call at 6:30am - wrong room and have been woken up at 11:30pm again tonight by another very loud and noisy school group - chairs and tables scraping across floors, music, clapping, loud laughter and chatter. We’ve been told there are another 3 groups arriving tomorrow. We didn’t have our room done today - bins not emptied despite being told not to flush, no clean cups or provisions updated and there was no toilet roll on arrival. We found a large lump of glass on the carpet. Traffic noise, horns and sirens are constant. There was no power for most of the day so no showers or hot drinks available. We are now also having to endure loud thumps on the ceiling. We didn’t choose to stay here, we were not given any information about it and we were not even told until we’d walked from the metro station with our luggage in hot temperature, and had been travelling for 10 hours with no sleep since the night before. This is beyond unacceptable and we would like recompensing for what has ruined our long awaited and eagerly anticipated break away to celebrate my Birthday. We will not be recommending yourselves or this Hotel to anyone if this situation is not addressed and resolved satisfactorily and with expediency. I sent you a message on your chat website on March 12th, on the 2nd evening…. You have not responded as to why we were not able to stay at the Delphi Art hotel?
