You can walk to the main ruins, including the Acropolis. The location was great, with supermarkets and many restaurants nearby, as well as a short walk from the station. The people at the front desk were also kind and helpful.

We were in the 2nd floor. Goods: +The location & view !!! +easy access, everything u need is near +The service & help was rly good +Clean rooms & smell good +Quiet to sleep +enough room space +really good hair dryer!! +u have soaps, shampoo etc. +good bed, sheets & pillows +fridge +breakfast was good, enough & good and happy service +professional coffee machine in the room too something to fix or check: -when showering a bit of water came to the rooms side ( they fixed it quickly but it didnt help a lot, prob fixing it completely when we leave) -more clear lights needed to see better! -have to sleep window a bit open because feels like you need more air -some alarm or bell in the room suddenly went on one night 4am ? We didnt get a good explanation for this, sounded also a bit like the doorbell. 😬 We enjoyed our stay in January & would defenitely go again 🤗

I will definitely come back to this place, because not many places have the combination of having a good place and friendly staff, for me even if the place does not exceed 100% my expectations but if the staff is super friendly and helpful then that goes above my expectations in terms of experience, and that is why I would like to thank you: Vicki, Eleonor & Penni, thank you for going extra mile and to ensure my stay here at St Bjur was memorable, you ladies are the best, friendly, attentive, great customer service, smiling , what more could I ask for! My room is comfortable with extra blankets, clean and comfy sheets, a coffee machine with coffee capsules from Illy Brand, milk, tea and even still water provided l, washroom was sparkling clean, location was the best thing about this place, close to everything, Acropolis museum, restaurants, bars, roof bars, shops, mall, hop and off bus to athens , Metro line, everything u need is just a tip off your fingers, locstion is safe and reliable, i highly recommend, not to mention the breakfast package was divine, really apppreciated !

A very Cosy Hotel (don't be afraid of the hotel's entrance). The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. In my point of view the pillows are very very hard and thick. Breakfast served in a brunch restaurant 200 metres away (it's quite 👍 good). Perfect location just next to Monastiraki metro station!

One of the worst experiences we've had in Europe. We are seasoned travellers around europe and have experienced hotels in the 4 and 5 star category. The Air-conditioning was not working during our stay . The hotel did nothing to help us either change our room or fix the AC and we were forced to sleep in the summer unbearable heat. We checked in on 7th June in the evening. Upon check in the air-conditioning was not cooling. But we assumed because of the hot summer maybe it will cool in the night. But at 4am the AC went off. We sent emails that night to the hotel to fix the AC in the day time. However after REPEATED REMINDERS by calls and emails the hotel DID not fix the AC. We slept another night in the unbearable heat without any air-conditioning. My child and spouse were all unable to sleep for 2 nights. The worst part of the entire ordeal is the hotel receptionists tried to speak to the manager to help us but not only was he inaccessible but after hours when they spoke to him he refused to help or even acknowledge the problem. After check out when we tried to tell the management about our poor experience they not only denied the issue existed ( inspite 3 OF THEIR RECEPTIONIST ACCEPTING AND COMING TO THE ROOM TO TRY AND SEE THE ISSUE) they even said WE WERE not using the AC correctly and lying. The only thing good about this stay was the location.

This hotel is truly fantastic, made extra special by the staff that work there. They were very friendly, helpful, and informative, without being pushy or overbearing. Our room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed, lots of shelf space to hold our items, suitcases, bags, etc, a safe, TV, and AC unit. The room was a little bare, with some unfinished plaster in a small space on the wall, but this didn't detract from the experience. The location is a 30 second walk from Monastiraki Square, and is surrounded by bars, restaurants, shops, and tourist areas. By its nature of being so close to the square, it is quite loud when the windows are open, but once the windows are closed, the room is completely silent. We would happily return here and strongly recommend to those who don't need an ornate or fancy room and want to be close to the action.

We were pleased with our choice of hotel and would stay here again. It is not very characterful but it is a practical and very comfortable place to stay (I would liken it to a Premier Inn but with air con, mini kitchen and upmarket coffee machine) Pros Great location, literally next to metro entrance, central for sights and near good bars and restaurants Competitive price Extremely clean throughout Comfortable bed and blackout curtains - we slept well. Excellent air conditioning Very good shower and constant hot water. Great coffee machine and pods Breakfast was very good at a nice place just round the corner There is a good vegan breakfast option 24hr reception Cons No lobby or common lounge areas (we didn’t mind this) Photos show 4 pillows, a throw and cushions in the rooms but there were only 2 pillows and no throw or cushions on arrival. We got a bit chilly on the first night but reception immediately provided a good extra blanket and extra pillow without any fuss. There is a fire exit sign above the bedroom door which is lit up 24hrs a day. It would be nice if it wasn’t there but it didn’t disturb our sleep.

I loved the St. Bjur Hotel and Suites. Conveniently located near the Acroporlis. Our room was beautiful and roomy. The front desk so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel breakfast at the Brunchers was excellent. All of the restaurants in the area were delicious. We highly recommend this hotel.
