I went on a trip with my kids, and the location is fantastic. The room with the Acropolis window all the time is excellent. I had a great experience in breakfast because I could see a beautiful view of the Acropolis. I woke up so late one day that I almost missed the tour bus, but I was really glad that the staff at the front of the hotel took care of it and showed me how to get on the bus. I would like to thank her very much, and I would like to compliment and publicize the kindness of the staff. This hotel was the flower of my trip to Athens.

I’m a solo traveller and I stayed here on my first trip to Athens. I wanted to be central to the attractions. The location was amazing! It is right on Monastiaki square where you can take the metro to and from the airport making it easy to get to! You can also use theirs to get around Athens! Low cost and easy to use! You can see the Acropolis right from the square! There are also lots of lovely restaurants and coffee shops around this area too! On arriving at the hotel the reception staff were very warm and welcoming. They helped me to arrange transportations and offered to prepare a takeaway breakfast bag for my early check out which was very kind! The room itself was quite large and clean with all of the amenities that you may need. The shower was hot which was good! The downside to the room is that it is very noisy from the outside due to it being on the square. It can get busy at nighttime, however I did expect this due to its location. I came prepared and brought earplugs to sleep in which did the trick! The breakfast is served in the rooftop bar. Plenty of choice and delicious pastries each day. Hot and cold options available which was nice! The views from here are amazing! You can sell all around you and have a view of the Acropolis as you enjoy your breakfast! Wow! Photos attached of the view from breakfast at the hotel rooftop and the square! I would recommend this hotel to stay on if you are wanting to be in the centre of Athens! Everything was accessible and the staff was always happy to help! Thank you so much for being so lovely during my stay! I would come back again! 😊

Stunning and impressive acroplolis view! Free evening drinks (red/ white wine) coupon available. Free tea bags and capsule coffee in the room. Excellent location, walkable distances to most of the scenic spots in Athens. Breakfast is not WOW but adequate. Room 43 (corner room) is comparatively better than room (42) in terms of the space and layout given same room type and room rate. The only drawback I had was the minor water leakage issue. Room 43 - standing shower Room 42 - toilet Also, the rooftop disco at 6/F opens till 2am so it could be a bit noisy if you’re staying at the 5/F.

Actually we couldn’t stay this hotel.. With the terms and conditions we have reserved. and no refund or no reduction has provided… Even though we have truly expected to stay Acropolis view room of A for Athens again on the last night in Athens, but due to the electric device disorder, the front desk explained, the reservation has changed to the room of another cheaper sister hotel, 360 pop art, without no refund. In addition to that, the number of guests has not been correctly communicated to the 360 pop art and we had been kept waiting for more than 30 mins, even including arguing by pop art receptionist, when so tired after long trip from islands in late evening. They explained they change to very good room with Acropolis view but it only has partial view. But it was completely different from the view from Acropolis view room at A for Athens, in which we had stayed a few redays ago with the same price. Very disappointed memory.

We stayed 3 nights at A for Athens in April 2024 and really enjoyed the hotel. Clean, modern guest rooms and the location is great, right across from Monastriaki Square and metro stop. Close to restaurants and shopping. The front desk receptionists were all very helpful, and the room was nicely appointed. We were in a 2nd floor room not facing the street and noise was minimal. There were drums playing in the square until very late so noise could be an issue in a different room. The breakfast included with the room was in a nice rooftop restaurant with fantastic Acropolis views all around. The food selections were very good with three different egg dishes, bacon, ham, sausages, fruit,pastries, Greek yogurt to choose from. They also served coffee, orange juice and very good cappuccino lattes upon request. We will stay here again on our next visit to Athens.

Excellent location, right in front of monasteraki square. We booked room with acropolis view, and it did not disappoint. Spacious room, with excellent breakfast at rooftop bar WITH ACROPOLIS view. Great foods. Market, flea Market all within walking distance. Thr front desk teceptioname, Kosta, was also extra helpful. Truly exceptional service

Best location to travel acient Athens! (Just next to the Monastirakiou station & Acropolis) With the great view of Acropolis!!!

We arrived at night. The room had a huge body odor. We asked to change rooms but they said they were fully booked. They changed us to another very bad hotel next door with a different room type. We called Ctrip and the hotel started to argue. This is definitely the most outrageous hotel I have ever stayed in. The elevator is super small and can only accommodate two people or one person and luggage, and it is very slow. For breakfast, you need to go downstairs and then take another elevator. It is very chaotic downstairs at night. It is full of people going to the bar. You have to pass through the hotel lobby. It is really outrageous. We were all deceived by Xiaohongshu. Avoid it.

Convenient location with just one subway ride to the airport. Views of the Acropolis from the rooms and breakfast area. Breakfast was buffet style and I was satisfied with both the quantity and taste. The room is spacious enough and the water area is clean. There is no bathtub, but it is acceptable. The information at the reception was kind and pleasant. I plan to stay here again the next time I stay in Athens. I was considering staying at a Japanese inn on Paros (Nyanyako Travel, Sakusaku House), but the service was so bad that I decided against it and went to another island and Athens. As expected, there were some troubles after that, including financial matters, so I'm really glad I didn't get involved. If you are going on a special trip, I recommend staying at a well-run hotel like A for, rather than being stingy and staying away from weird hotels.

I can only describe it in two words: perfect. Whether it is the environment, service, grade, facilities, etc., it is excellent. I will choose this place next time.

The location is excellent. The city view room overlooks Monastiraki Square and the Acropolis. It is a stone's throw away from Ladies Market, Constitution Square and other surrounding business districts and historical sites. Although the hotel is not very big, the rooms are quite comfortable and the service is very good. I will visit again next time.

They were really kind and considerate and always took care of our convenience. The room condition was fantastic and the japchae was Awesome!

The room was very noisy at night due to the disco and the mattress was too old. Physical examination was poor. Not recommended for people to stay here.
