The location is very good. The disadvantage is that the sound of walking in the corridor can be heard clearly in the room, as well as the sound of the next room. It is a partition for a group rental house, but the partitions and rooms are both good.

This hotel is beautiful, its decor is stunning and very clean. The beds are very comfortable and the showers excellent. Breakfast was on an outside terrace area on the third floor. Lovely and extensive menu, food was fresh and delicious. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend for all the above and the amazing central location, so near to all Athens has to offer.

The location is convenient, however, there is no front desk (use one across the street at another hotel); our room was small; did not feel secure (no room key is required to access the floors and there is not an additional lock on the inside of the room); light from the street & no room darkening curtains/shades, noise from street, hair dryer did not work, some of the decor is shabby, not aware of facility amenities.

One of the best hotels we ever stayed. Very centrallt located. Big room, very very clean shining toilet shower, polite helpful staff, very rich breakfast basket. Toiletries were of very high quality. They cleaned the room as soon as we were out. Didnt have to wait afternoon like other hotels.

The Diamond Plus is a sort of ane to the larger and smarter Hotel Marblous directly opposite. Our room was large as was the bathroom, but there was one factor that spoilt it. There was a huge wardrobe, but it was all hanging space, in the end we had to live out of our suitcase as there was just nowhere to put anything. A great plus however was the lighting, one of the best lit rooms we have ever stayed in. Breakfast is served in the room in a basket, one rings for it and it arrives within minutes. We found the selection to be great, bowls of yogurt, a "muesli" of roasted and crushed nuts, tasty rolls with meat and salad, fruit, pastries and bread with butter and jam or honey. Also fruit juice and a bottle of fresh milk. As the room had a fridge and a jar of ground coffee plus plunger we could have several cups during the day. The location is great, 5 minutes walk from many of the main sights and a hop on hop off bus stop.

We booked this last minute as our flights home were cancelled so we needed a place for an additional two nights. The location was so central and the rooms were so lovely. Large rooms with great amenities. Excellent service from tis hotel, I would highly recommend. Loved their breakfast basket delivered each morning included in the daily rate. Just perfect!

I would like to congratulate their cleaning staff as everything was cleaned very well. But the hotel is old and rusty. Mold in bathroom silicone broken tiles, rusty faucet. Double bed was really small 130cm x 200cm Uneven flooring which caused me dizziness. And the worst ever was the breakfast basket which is served in the room.

The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and cleaned each day. The staff very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast baskets delivered to our room each morning was wholesome and tasty. A big plus for this hotel is its central location, close to Plaka and Ermou street. There are plentiful restaurants in the area. Overall it was a very pleasant stay at this hotel and we shall certainly return

I originally booked this hotel due to the roof top terrace and shared breakfast area at its sister hotel across the street, I immediately emailed them after booking and asked how we access the roof top terrace and access The breakfast area. I was told immediately that it was no longer allowed since they renovated the sister hotel the “marblous house” so I asked to cancel my reservation immediately, literally within a few hours of booking and my request was denied. I regretted the booking going forward from day one, I emailed the Hotel a few more times asking for a balcony room and water kettle those emails were not answered I emailed them again a couple of weeks before arrival to request those two wishes again which they confirmed and finally responded to. Their is no lobby, no where to sit, have a coffee, or even eat something so you are basically in your room only. There are no comfortable chairs in the room too sit in they were hard plastic and they do not even provide cushions for them, The hotel is dated and worn but mostly clean. The best part of the 22 days that we stayed there was our Asian cleaning lady she was very sweet! I am a first generation American, my parents and siblings are all from/born in Athens and my husband is Greek so I know about Greek hospitality and cuisine. Breakfast was shameful and literally the exact same minus a few items here and there for the entire stay of 22 days. It consisted of 4 small hard and soft rolls, The two soft rolls included one slice of very thin lunch meat and one slice of very thin cheese both were cut in half and split between the two rolls, 2 small packets of honey and butter, 2 small jars of jam, some days 1 packet of salt and pepper, 2 small containers of yogurt most days 2 pieces of fruit (mostly apples but 3 times we got bananas and once we got oranges and 1 time we got a very very small pear) they literally gave us old oranges which we did not eat, I received a rotten banana and the tiny pear was rotten. The first free days we received 1 small packet of 2 pieces of Melba type toast which were all broken in pieces in the packet but after that we never received them again. Two hard boiled egg, some days they were cracked and looked dry where the shell pieces were off, Some days we only got one piece of fruit which was surprising as there was two of us. We were giving 2 individual serving size boxes of Kelloggs corn flakes or All Bran everyday with a small jar of milk some days it also included “1” small donut hole for two people to split between them. I can honestly say that in the one 6 decades I have never ate cereal in my life in Michigan where Kelloggs is produced let alone to travel to Athens Greece to eat it, now my payment was to include my breakfast but I cannot eat a hard boiled egg everyday for 22 days that’s disgusting and so was their so called 1/2 slice of lunch meat and cheese, so we incurred additional expenses my getting breakfast daily so we did not have to order or eat the

I was delighted to stay at this beautiful small hotel at the best location of the city center. Convenient and close to everything you need! Beautiful rooms with neoclassical decoration, clean, comfortable and spacious. I was upgraded to a larger room with two balconies and that was a great gesture by the hotel. I was also offered a bottle of sparkling wine. Breakfast is brought to your room in a baske. It was tasty and more than enough! Value for money by all means. I will definitely return!

The best thing about this hotel is its location: about 150 meters walk from the Plaza de la Constitución (Syntagma), where both the metro (9 euros/way) and the bus (5.5 euros/way) stop are located. to the airport as well as the monument to the unknown soldier and the famous Grand Bretagne Hotel, from whose terrace you have magnificent views of the Parthenon and Lycabetus, and about 5-10 minutes walk from Plaka. Registration is peculiar to say the least: the reception is located in the hotel across the street. Breakfast is ordered by phone at reception and brought in a wicker basket to the room, which is very elegantly decorated. The quality/price ratio is excellent.

The secret to tourism in Athens is to stay in areas such as Plaka, Monastiraki or near Syntagma Square. This hotel is at the epicenter of these recommendations. From there, it is possible to visit almost all of the city's points of interest within a walk that is unlikely to exceed one kilometer. It is also in a region full of restaurants, markets and shops - both local and international brands. If you need to take the metro somewhere, Syntagma Square station is also very close. The hotel offers the option of a contracted transfer to and from the airport, ask to see if it is worth it in your case, as a normal taxi to the airport usually has a set price depending on the time of day. We used the transfer on the way back. The reception desk at this hotel operates in another hotel across the street, there is a sign on the door advising how to proceed. We checked in without any problems and went to our room, there is an elevator in the building. The furniture has an old look but is very functional and cozy, with a closet, safe, minibar, even a kind of sofa in addition to the bed. The bathroom stall is a little small and slippery but just be careful, the water has good pressure. The hotel provides products such as shampoo, conditioner and soap (liquid and bar). Breakfast is room service, something unusual in hotels I've been to: you call reception and request it (within opening hours), and they deliver a basket to your apartment. This basket usually includes things like a croissant, bread, a spinach and cheese sandwich, yogurt, cereal, a bottle of milk, fruit juice, plus some fruit like pears, apples or bananas. For me and my wife, it was quite a lot, and there was always something left to eat later. Very friendly and satisfying. I was wondering if there were any caveats to be made, and I couldn't think of anything very significant. Personally, I would prefer less high pillows (I have a problem with my neck), but there are pillows available, you sleep the way you think is best. It ends up being quite personal. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if it's your first time in Athens.

As soon as we arrived we were stunned to see a simple glass door with a plaque advising customers to check in at the hotel reception across the street... our hotel does not have a reception and (we will find out later) not even a breakfast room! During check-in they force us to sign a form in which we declare that, in the event of theft in the room of valuable objects kept outside the safe, we relieve the hotel of any responsibility! But how can I keep a PC in the safe? The room appears clean and nice, but the bathroom is small and the sink isn't even equipped with a soap dish. Breakfast is brought to our room with food at their discretion and counted (1 jam, 1 honey, 1 egg, 2 woods each...), furthermore during cleaning the staff threw away the newly opened bars of soap without replacing them. The icing on the cake: I declared that I had to eat gluten free and on the second day they forgot! Only the location is good, otherwise completely failed
